(8" H x 15" W x 30" L) This convenient sized "recall" (recapture or call back) pen is intended for use as a "home" for 10 to 12 quail. After a week of living in the pen, part of the covey may be released or "planted" and the quail left in the pen will "call back" the released birds which will re-enter the pen through the cone-shaped funnel. This recall pen is designed for "same-day" release and recapture. (Additional protection from the elements and predators is required for a permanent type recall pen.) Constructed of sturdy 1" x 1/2" galvanized steel welded wire. Cone-shaped entry will let quail in, but not out. 3" transfer door minimizes handling. Sometimes called a quail trap.
