All 12 ID plates will have the same information.

Each tag includes rivets for attachment to a collar.

Our tags will fit up to 4 lines of information.

The top and bottom lines are longer and will fit 20 letters. Lines 2 and 3 are shorter - fitting only 18. This is because of the placement of the rivets.

Our ID Plate machine can stamp the following characters:
  • Letters A - Z (Caps Only)
  • Numbers 0 - 9
  • Special Characters / - . , ' & @ $ # ( ) : ! " _ * + =

    Instructions for attaching name plates using rivets:

    Most of our collars are pre-punched for ID plates. If your collar is not, or you are adding a second ID plate:
    1. Use the ID plate to mark where it will be attached to the collar
    2. For leather collars, use a leather punch tool, ice pick, or hammer and nail to make the holes for the rivets
    3. For nylon collars, the holes should be melted using a soldering iron or a heated nail or ice pick
    Once you have your holes punched:
    1. Line the plate up on top of the holes and put the stud part of the rivet through from the bottom
    2. Put the crown over the stud and hammer it closed on a hard surface (concrete or steel)
    3. You should drive the 2 pieces together until the upper surface flattens out
    4. Your I.D. tag is now attached!

    We will put anything you want on your ID plates, but keep in mind that the main purpose of an ID plate is to get your dog home safely if he gets lost. In our opinion, anything else has no place on a tag.

    These arrived deeply engraved and with a fantastic finish. No sharp edges which is definitely a problem I have encountered with other companies. These tags don’t jingle and dont get ripped off the collar or hung up on things like dangling tags. My dogs are all microchipped but a solid readable tag is always the fastest way home if something were to happen.

    These brass tags are terrific. They are deeply stamped, all identical, and well-made. Getting a dozen at once made it convenient to put tags on several important things, including rod and rifle cases, dog collars, and range bags.

    Before you go!!! Get new ID tags on your dogs.

    I always like to order new ID Tags that show the new address, phone #’s, and best point of contact before my dogs are taken on a trip or before moving to a new home. Gun Dog Supply always gets the new ID tags to me quickly.
