I have been a professional retriever trainer for fifteen years. I have worked with hundreds of dogs and their owners, conducted seminars and obedience classes, and have spoken to a number of clubs on the importance of using trained dogs to hunt wild fowl. Over these years I've refined a common-sense training method that I'd like to share with you.
My simple, positive approach to training your retriever all boils down to the "ABC's." Your Attitude, the dog's Breeding, and Condition, Correct, and Control: condition the dog to obey your commands, immediately correcting the wrong response, and keeping control of the training situation at all times.
Use my "ABC's" and you'll find yourself having "one heck of a good time" with your trained dog.
Keeping it Simple,
Mike Pind
