Does everything as advertised. Throws Dokkens PLENTY high and far to give dog a good look at the arc and fall easily out to 250 yards on flat terrain. This particular box launcher definately outperforms the two other main competitors' box launchers. The mounting strips are excellent and easy to use. No tools.

All three of mine have solonoids for the release mechanism, which I find far superior to servos. Mine are several years old but the ones we bought for our retriever club have the black matted finish which I like better than the bright aluminum. I wouldn't buy 'Brand X" even though they are a bit less expensive.

The wonder lead is simple to use and easy to maintain. The directions and photo illustrations included in the packaging are clear to understand.

The wonder lead has been an indespensible training tool which I use for yard work, prior to conformation showing, field work, and indoor training on manners. I have used the wonder lead on several of my former rescue Brittanys and have recommended it to their adopters. I have also demonstrated it to family, friends, co-workers, and random strangers I see struggling to walk their dogs.

Every time I bring out a wonderlead, all of my dogs get excited, line up shoulder to shoulder, sit or stand, then smile as they drop their heads slightly to accept the lead, as they anticipate something fun is going to happen, be it a simple walk or bird work.

Coming from a western family that always has had black labs; I’ve always wanted one of my own. So finally I bit the bullet and have a 7 month old pup named Woodley in the big city. Unlike the farm dogs we've had, Woodley has to function as a city dog and trusted friend in the field and water, which means total manners and obedience. I've always shied away from choke chain collars so when my colleague suggested the Wonder Lead I was intrigued. It may look like a lasso on these city streets, but boy does it work. At the moment, Woodley is small enough that his pulling isn’t too hard on my hands, but I think if he was a bigger dog I may wear gloves when using the Wonder Lead as the instructions suggest. I’ve also not had to wrap the lead around one ear for more control; I think he may be too small for that. But overall I’m pleased about my purchase and solution as it’s very affordable and gives me much more control over my dog. It's a great training tool!

It certainly works it getting the dog to respond to the lead. I felt that it was beneficial in instilling the "heel" command in several of my dogs. However, I did not like how quickly the rubber "stopper" wore out on the lead. The piece of rubber is supposed to keep the loop small enough that the loop won't slip down the dog's neck, but instead will stay nicely up behind the dog's ears. This worked well for a little while, but within a couple of months, the inside of the rubber was worn down and there wasn't enough friction to keep it in place. Other than that I like the product.

I bought this when my girl was still young. Like most GSPs, she had a real problem with pulling. However, the rope texture was so rough it hurt her and frightened her to have it on. Quite frankly, it hurt my hands to use it as well. If she had been an 80 pound bully dog and I had been willing to pull on a set of welding gloves, this might have been just the ticket. I've not tried it on her again as the problem has resolved itself using other means. The leash is hanging somewhere in the barn and will probably remain there until I notice it one day and toss it out... We've been fostering GSPs and this might come in handy if we ever get one that can't be handled any other way. This was just one of those pretty good ideas that didn't quite work out.

I purchased the WiFi Pet Fence for our American Tundra Shepard. He is a large 1/4 tundra wolf and 3/4 German Shepard puppy who's 120 lbs and growing. When he walks, he walks slowly and his head doesn't move much. The WiFi collar goes into a sleep mode on him and therefore doesn't activate. Therefore I returned the unit for to try the Petsafe model. The WiFi worked as it should but for my dog the collar was not sensitive enough. I called the maker and told them of this problem. If you have a dog that bounced and jerked while moving I'm sure this product would work.

Ordered, but when received & loaded the pistol (acorn & smokeless blanks) would not fire. Called GDS & they promptly sent a replacement (suggestion was that pistol was not machined properly).
The replacement pistol fires just fine. Acorn blanks are perfect for our rescued Dutch at getting him used to gunfire. We are gradually advancing to the smokeless blanks. The only problem with both of these types of blanks is that they are a pain to eject! They have to be pried out of cylinder with fingernail or knife. This makes for slow reloading. Eventually we will advance to the powder blanks & I predict we shouldn't have any troubles with those because of the smooth edges.
The pistol has a nice heavy feel & overall we are happy with our purchase & the customer service received.

when I put it on he acts better, even without activating
it. His behavior is improving but not where I want to be
yet. I have only used it approximately 6-7 times. I work
full time so want to use it when I am at home and can
monitor behavior. My horseshoer suggested the perfect adaptation
would be to have a sensor on my thoroughbred that buzzed the

Considering the draft would even charge fences and break
them down we have come a long way.

The problem is that for it to be effective you would have to watch your horse 24/7. So, for me it was money wasted. It might work well for others with different issues, mine is cribbing "wind sucking". My horse figured out that she can still crib and only gets shocked some of the time when I have the time to sit and watch her which is not very ofter considering how busy and demanding a full time job and just life seems to be. Sorry to be negative about it, I was hoping for the best but didn't consider the amount of time it would take to be successful. Thanks for asking, Jana

Original transmitter fell in pool and died - the replacement works identically and the instructions to program were easy to follow. Would highly recommend for anyone using these collars.

Not sure what happend to my last remote but it stopped working. I order a replacement from Gundogsupply.com and it works great. Easy to use and easy to reprogram. I have ordered a few items from Steve at Gundogsupply.com and have always been satisifed. Quick shipping, great service, great products! Could not ask for anything more!!! Thanks Steve!

Owns 2 dogs. german shepherds. Pet.
I couldn't be happier with my try-tronics sport basic G3. had to replace the remote transmitter when i lost the first one after years and years of reliable service (@10). I use the tri-tronics for remote recall so I can let my two german shepherds off leash when we hike in the woods near my home. This is a top-quality product that has given me control and peace of mind while allowing my young shepherds maximum freedom within safe limits. Thanks Tri-Tronics!!

It helps with training alot and calms my boxer down and she listens and is way more obedient now. I dont even remember the last time I had to use the shock collar.

German Shorthair Pointer. Pet. Hunting dog.
Best thing that ever happened to a hunting dog.

Picks up trail of animals that I do not want him to get on, and can't get him back.

The Tri-Tronics really works.

No more yelling and screaming, or cusing.

Thanks

These dogs can cover a lot of ground in a hurry So its nice to know where they are when you cant see them and be able to recall them when they get too far away. I am very happy
with the upland G3

the remote beeper function on the hand held is an excellent feature and it works everytime. I only turn the beeper on to find my dog on point in the thick cover. I prefer the quiet approach to get close to the birds.

I like the fact that you can add collars and thus have the ability to run all my dogs at the same time with just one transmitter to keep up with.
