    The remote backer teaches pointing dogs to stop or back when another dog points. The 2 device transmitter allows the raising and lowering of the dog at the push of a button and can control up to 2 backers or Bird Launcher IIs.

    Receiver uses a 9 volt battery (included). Before using your Auto Backer, you will need to connect the positive power lead to the rechargeable battery (see instructions for details).

    • NOTE: Should you need to access the receiver battery with the dog in the down position, the easiest way is to remove the 3mm hex screw at the top of the link bar. This disengages the dog and allows you to remove the unit cover, providing access to all the components.
