The bodies are made of a soft natural-feel foam with free swinging hard plastic head and feet
and a natural dead bird weight. Encourages a proper pick up and hold while discouraging the
shaking of birds. Dokken Dead Fowl Trainers float even when punctured and training scents
may be injected directly into the body for added realism. For water training, the Dead Fowl
Trainer has no equal when it comes to life like appearance. You may choose the more visible
(whiter) Pin Tail, Blue Bill, or Red Head models for younger, less experienced dogs to the less
visible (darker) Mallard or Black Duck models for the more experienced dogs. A Pheasant model
is available for upland dogs.
Dead Fowl Trainer Internal Scent System -- To internally scent your Dead Fowl Trainer: Inject the training scent into the middle of the foam duck body in six different locations using the Dokken's Dead Fowl Scent Injector or a syringe (not provided). The foam body is designed to hold the training scent whether using the dummy in or out of the water. 1/2 to 3/4 ounce of
training scent is sufficient.
