Directions:
Lift up the handle end and remove the rubber plug. There's a small recess to store the plug on the bottom so your dog can't chew it while in use. Once the Dash 3.5 is laid down with the plug removed, the bowl area will fill with water. When the dog starts drinking, water will constantly backfill to ensure they don't run out. When it's time to go, tilt the unit up to return any leftover water inside and push the plug back in place.

With this sturdy, large, and practical waterer, seeing mirages will never happen. The entire design is practical. It is simple to fill the water and the plug is effective. The dish is built in and refills are plentiful with the large holding tank. The waterer is easy to carry with the strong handle and there are no spills in the vehicle while traveling. I use it at dog training classes and for road trips. The dogs caught on right away and go right for the bowl. Kudos to the designers because they even thought like a dog and have a hidden place under the bowl for the plug. The plug won't be misplaced or chewed by your canine friends.

Wonderful product- absolutely fills the need to have fresh water available for the dogs all day long. I live in Florida so evaporation is an issue but with the ability to have 3.5 gallons slowly flow into the bowl we have solved our water problem .

So .... drill a stainless screw into top with a wire to keep them ..... boom. Done.

Thought I had found my go-to travel water but the plugs are finicky and tough to get in and out, especially in cold weather. Had one come out in the truck and soaked the bed -- somewhat operator error -- but it's an imperfect plug system at best. Functionally, I love it as I dont waste used water and can carry less.

I’ve only been using it for a little over a week. Holds plenty of water. Easy to fill, and the plugs keep the water on the container. Heavy molded plastic seems like it will hold up well. Very easy to store in the truck and use on the return from the field. Really happy with this product as a water supply durning daily hunting trips and will work great for longer term hunting trips.

Cons
None. The only thing that I could foresee is if I loose a plug and can?t get an extra. Imagine it will be possible to get a spare plug if needed.

The container came with only one plug for the two fill holes. After contacting the company they sent another but it is slightly too small for the fill hole. I bought a plug at the hardware store that fits better. The container holds enough water for an afternoon in the dove field and the dogs drink well from it. The water temperature stays temperate.

The dog waterer is made from really strong thick plastic (I think it might be similar to a rotomold like on Yeti coolers) so it can take a beating. Very easy to use with the handle. The fill and waterer plugs make a tight fit so there's no leaking. The capacity is perfect for me and my 3 dogs (of various sizes and breeds) to go on a weekend camping trip. Can easily throw this in the back of the truck and go off-road and not worry about it breaking or leaking. Highly recommend! It does come with some plastic shavings inside from the manufacturing process, so be sure to fill and drain with water to get those out first before using with your dog.
