I made the mistake of letting her out of the crate and created a pattern of behavior. I needed to get control of the situation so my family could sleep again.
The good folks at Gundogsupply recommended the Dogtra iQ training collar for small dogs. I purchased the collar and have been using it for 4 nights now. It is easy to set up, charge and operate. The collar has a number of holes in it to accommodate dogs smaller and larger than my 10 lb morky. The user manual is short, concise and easy to follow. The bark collar operates great and stimulates on cue. The collar is also equipped with a vibrating pager button for vibrating stimulation. After two nights and only four stimulation events my dog has stopped barking at night.

I asked Steve for a suggestion on getting him in line with respect to incessant barking and aggressive behavior. I purchased the Dogtra IQ per his recommendation, and it is the only reason my dog is still with us today. It began working immediately. I have primarily used the vibrate with strong verbal command to see excellent results and immediate cessation of the barking. I have used the "nick" with strong verbal command only 2 or 3 times for the aggressive behavior. Now he just has to see the remote in my hand, and he obeys. I am so grateful for the expert, no-nonsense assistance I received, and I have already recommended this system to my sister for her dog's barking problems. Without this system, I would have had to let my dog go, and with the biting and overall aggressive behavior, there was nowhere for him to go. This collar has been a wonderful tool for me to use while training him to not react to strangers. It's helped him to make better choices when faced with a stressful or scary situation. It took me just a few days to get the hang of using this e-collar. I have never used one before but now it's become an invaluable tool! It's well made and sturdy. Also, collar material could be improved, i think the plastic will go brittle and crack later. (woven nylon/kevlar perhaps?)
Charger receptacles should be a screw in. not press in rubber. not durable enough or waterproof enough.
Love the "vibrate" function, i just look at him and go "bzzzz" and

Stimulation from the Dogtra iQ
- The Dogtra iQ has multiple intensity levels, which allows you to choose the stimulation that is best for your dog.
- 100 Gradual Intensity Levels of both Nick (Momentary) and Continuous Stimulation can be quickly adjusted with the dial on the side of the transmitter. This means that you can instantly adjust intensity whenever distractions increase.
- Teach yardwork/obedience and enforce known commands with lower levels of stimulation.
