Firefly Electronic Wind Detector

Firefly is the world's first electronic wind detector. It's so sensitive it can detect wind currents/thermals undetectable to humans. Firefly takes 64 readings per second, analyzes these readings, and after 3 seconds reports the results in the form of easy-to-interpret LED lights.

Knowing wind direction is critical to hunting success. Big game animals and predators survive by using their well developed sense of smell. The best way to avoid detection is to use the wind or thermals to your advantage.

Using Firefly:

Operating Firefly is easy -- just push the button. The LED lights will flash indicating the Firefly is turned on. In about three seconds the Firefly begins reporting the wind direction and will continue to do so for five more seconds. It then automatically turns itself off after eight seconds of non use. To take another wind reading, simply push the button again.
