Havahart Radial Shape 2 Digital Wireless Dog Fence 5134G2 1-dog

The Havahart Radial Shape 2 Wireless Dog Fence forms a circular shaped boundary that has a wide Trigger Zone specifically designed to keep your dog safe inside the Roaming Area and away from danger. When your dog reaches your desired fence radius inside the Trigger Zone, the Havahart Controller sends a signal to the collar to take corrective action.

The Havahart Wireless Dog Fence is easy to install with no digging required. In about one hour you can have your wireless fence up and running and begin training your dog. Set the roaming area radius anywhere from 40 feet up to 400 feet -- that's up to 11 acres! (maximum distance requires an unobstructed direct line of sight between the fence boundary and the system controller)

Need to contain a second dog? Just add an Additional Havahart Collar.

Havahart Wireless Fence Controller / Receiver:

The wall mount Have a Heart Radial Wireless Receiver is a fraction of the size of other wireless containment systems. Its small size allows for ideal but discrete placement in your house to maximize your dog's roaming area. The small controller size also makes it completely portable -- take the Havahart Wireless Radial Dog Fence with you when you move or go on vacation.

The easy-to-read digital LCD screen lets you easily set the exact distance of your fence boundary and customize correction levels for up to 2 dogs (second collar available separately). Boundary Breach and Low Collar Battery alerts keep you informed when there's a problem.

Dimensions: 6 1/2"W x 5 1/4"H x 1 1/4"D (12 1/8"H with antennas installed)

Havahart Collar Design:

The Radial-Shape2 Wireless Electric Dog Collar strap is made from 3/4" heavy gauge nylon webbing and has a durable snap buckle closure. The water resistant collar fits dogs with neck sizes from 14-26".

To avoid signal blockage from your dog, the Havahart Wireless Containment System places the antennas inside the collar strap. This insures that the antennas can rest on the sides of your dog's neck and have more constant communication with the controller. This enables the Have-a-Heart system to track and tell you the real-time distance to your dog. Exclusive Integrated Motion Sensor Technology conserves collar battery life when your dog is not moving.

The battery cap has been designed to be flush with the battery housing and requires a coin to open or tighten the cap in order to secure the battery in place. The total collar weight is 3.7 oz.

Battery life is dependent on how frequently your dog tests the Trigger Zone as well as the degree of your dog's activity. It is recommended that batteries are charged nightly.

With a Safety Shut-Off for the static correction cycle, Havahart Wireless has made the safety of your dog a top priority. With non-stimulation tone only mode plus five different static correction levels, you can choose the correction level that is best for your dog. The correction cycle (a series of static pulses) persists until your dog returns 10 feet back inside the Roaming Area or until the Safety Shut-Off activates after 30 seconds. Unlike an underground wire fence, the Radial-Shape2 Wireless Dog Fence will not correct your dog for returning back inside the Roaming Area.

Training Your Dog: Program Overview

Proper training of your dog is the most crucial element to ensure the safe and successful operation of your Havahart Wireless Dog Fence. Below is an overview of the Havahart Wireless training program. It is important that you follow the instruction manual and complete the entire training process without skipping any phases. Keep your sessions short and frequent -- approximately 15 minutes long, 2-3 times a day.

Preliminary Phase: Flag Awareness Training (optional)

Phase 1: Passive Training (days 1-3)

Phase 2: Active Training (days 4-7)

Phase 3: On-Leash Distractions (days 8-11)

Phase 4: Off-Leash Supervision (days 12-15)

Phase 5: Dog Monitoring (day 16 and Beyond)

Remember every dog is unique and may respond differently depending on age, size, temperament and ability to learn. Adjust your training accordingly.
