    Much better than the rope versions

    This is much better than the stiff rope versions from other suppliers. Nice brass clip, and being slick and smooth no mud, no dirt or with puppies, poop gets stuck to it! Since I use it on the ocean beach, the only thing that would make it better would be a sand and dirt proof clip because sand will get into the catch and jam it.

    I have working border collies, and this is the lead I reach for 9 times out of 10. I accidentally left mine with an out-of-state friend so immediately had to buy a replacement.

    • Lightweight and compact, but more than strong enough for the dogs I own and work
    • Light snap is particularly nice for use with puppies
    • Impervious to mud, muck, and livestock poop
    • Flexible in winter
    • Highly visible on the ground when I set it down
