    Perfect for a young puppy

    Check Cord is the perfect size for a 8-16 week old pup. They can learn to drag it around and have it not slow them down at all. The 3/8 is pretty small, you could probably get away with the 1/2 inch if you didn't want to buy two.

    Purchased this for my 4 month old puppy. Shipped and arrived very quickly. This check cord is well made and lightweight. It doesn’t get tangled and the bright color makes it easy to spot. It’s perfect for recall training and letting my puppy run and play with the feeling of being off-leash at the park or on the farm where there isn’t a fenced area.

    Excellent Check Cord

    I recently purchased this Tuflex check cord for my new 12 week old Labrador Retriever. I first contacted GDS as to their recommendations and was promptly given a couple of options. The 20 foot check cord is great for puppy training. The material is tough but what I like most is that it does not tangle or knot easily. Another feature is that the check cord is stiff enough to roll it forward to avoid obstructions & untangle puppy legs. The best part of the purchase was getting a GDS opinion & assistance. I have been a customer for over 10 years and GDS is by far the best. Thanks

    I have a 10 foot to 20 foot and a 30 foot I will get a 50 foot as our pup gets older. I have a half inch but it’s too heavy for her to pull through the cover. For a young dog I would definitely recommend the 3/8. 20 or 30 foot check cord. We may end up using the 3/8 cord when our pup is an adult

    All and all pretty good, however, has cracked in one area, but nice.
