protocols here is the start of my list of protocols t h e f u t u r e - one day there will be tritronics, innotek, & dtsystems templates - eventually, we will weed out 6 years of doing products 6 different ways - hopefully, more info will be absorbed back into the caption of the original product. p r o d u c t s - page2 is the default item/section/group template - the name field is only for text. no formatting or graphics. never put html inside a name. - the name of a product should include the following:
manufacturer > product name > model# and maybe some other keywords
innotek contain 'n' train cnt 666 dog training collar
- options are to be text only with multiple words grouped within " ".
"name of option" "first option (+$0.00)" - options dropdowns with the name of the dropdowns should be
no more than 35 characters including the (+$0.00) too long:
"nameofoption" "blaze orange snap holster (+8.99)"

for the templates to work, we can't have
- if you can't spell always spelcheck you documants befroe uplodiing them. - codes are for products.
if it's temporarily out of stock, make orderable=y
if it's discontinued, take off the code/price/sale-price.

- never use an object in multiple places. use a link.

and other redundant tags created in microsoft products. - captions should only be text with limited html - never put html inside a name. for any reason. - never put html inside an option. i m a g e s - product photos / images should be no more than 30k in file size - optimum dimensions of products are 350x350 pixels - product photos should be jpegs with 15% compression - gifs are to be used for logos and flat areas of color f o n t s - tahoma is the font of the site. do not use any other font - colors of the site are 255 0 0 red, 128 128 128 gray and 0 0 0 black - do not use any other colors or fonts on the site. - please do not use all caps. n e w p r o d u c t s - never copy the caption from one site and paste it on to another site.
it's bad manners for google. ask me about the workaround.
