We breed one or two litters of black labs every year, and I keep three or four puppies and train them for year and sell them as a starter dog. I thought you would enjoy my four little monsters climbing in and out of the Heavy Duty Dog Doors.
Yes, little dogs can use the Heavy Duty Dog Door if properly trained. Let’s review how we train our little black lab puppies.
Puppies are weaned at five weeks. And if weather permits, we bolt a ramp on the outside and install the rubber mud flap for the dog door. For two weeks our little boys and girls will chew, push, and pull through the rubber flap.
We will place our puppies in new homes at seven weeks. And at seven weeks these little black labs will use our Heavy Duty Dog Door like a pro.
