Sylmar Dog Boots are lightweight, extremely tough, and built to stay on your dog's foot. The sole is made from special reinforced poly/nylon that is non-skid and abrasion resistant, and is based on a design was originally created for rider protection in the motocross industry.

The upper boot is made of breathable orange 500 denier ripstop cordura nylon. A wide strip of Velcro up the back of the boot plus an exterior tongue give a better custom fit. Velcro straps around the ankle and the top of the boot keep the boot in place and prevent debris from entering the boot.

Hand wash only -- do not machine wash.

Sizing:

Small -- Under 25 lbs.
Medium -- 25 lbs. to 50 lbs.
Large -- 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
X-Large -- over 75 lbs.

Fitting Tips: If your dog is not accustomed to wearing boots, it is important to be patient and get the boot on correctly. This process will become easier each time it is done.

Slip the boot on with the sole down and use the rear tongue of the boot to pull the boot into place. After attaching the vertical Velcro strip, attach the rear tongue on the outside of the boot. Then wrap and tighten the two Velcro straps around the leg.

If this is the first time for your dog to wear boots it will take a short time for them to get accustomed to the feel of the boot (try not to laugh during this early adjustment). Having a walk or a fun activity ready for your dog will shorten the adjustment period.
