I use a service dog and had a unique quetion regarding a product to use; not in its intended manner. customer service went out of the way and offered suggestions as to how i might accomplish that. i am using their suggestion. shipping was very fast and pricing reasonable for this quality made product. in these days of customer no-service, they actually value customers. what more could you ask of a company? gun dog supply is my first choice should i need anything they carry, for my dog in the future. sue m.

Weve bought things from Gun Dog Supply three or four times at least now and always been very pleased. Regular shipping has been very quick. Dog collars are very high quality and priced well. Only slight problem I had was they have such a large supply of collars and I had a very specific need so needed to come up with the right criteria to search on. Even that wasnt too bad tho. Tho it may appear I give out Excellent ratings easily, I dont. Theyre just one of the rare excellent companies out there.

The variety of items they provide is quite good and the presentation in their online catalog is both clear and informative. You get a good idea of what they are offering. After a few purchases they get an idea of what you like and you get email sale notices and specials that usually appeal to your needs. I had to return a faulty piece of equipment to an unresponsive manufacturer and though it was past the warranty period, they stepped in and got the manufacturer to address the problem and make full restitution for the product. After the refund the manufacturer did not follow through with promises to help address the problem its faulty equipment had caused, as they promised, but this distributor did follow up with communication to see how things had gone. This included personal phone calls as well as emails. I really appreciated that personal touch and comprehensive level of involvement! They have been one of the best online shopping providers I have experienced!

My two dogs needed new leads; their leather latigos had worn from years of use in various weather conditions, and the leads just had a terrible odor. The reflective collar my black lab mix wears had stretched and was falling from his neck on walks. First choice was the Petsmart website; I buy their dog food from their store so why not the leads. The website had the the twisted leather latigos listed but were not in stock. A reflective collar that does not use a buckle or batteries was not listed. The band style is not readily available. Google searched and came upon Gun Dog Supply. The website was easy to navigate; it is filled with a variety of training and outdoor supplies. Made my order but recieved the incorrect width. Honest mistake. Their service representative was very cordial and accomodating. Received the replacement leads a via 2 day UPS. Forgotten what new leather latigos had looked like; the color, smooth texture and stitching were easily of higher quality than those found in regular stores. The reflective band collar fit well. More often I am finding myself seeking and supporting smaller, family owned businesses rather than the big chain stores; aside from better product choices, the difference is in the treatment of the customer. Gun Dog Supply will be one of those I support; they have higher quality supplies that are fairly priced and their staff is experienced and pleasant to deal with.

I wanted the Dogtra trainer for over 2 years now, but when I had to buy it here (in the Netherlands) it would have costed me almost $700. With the low dollar now in Europe, it would be the cheapest way to get one from the US, so I decided to buy one at Gundog. Gundog always responded quick and correct via mail, and the device was here within 4 days from the other side of the world. They even noticed that I needed a european charger, since we have 230V here. It arrived safely and undamaged, and I use it almost every day now. I would definately buy again from Gundog.
