Tracker Maxima Complete Systems

The Maxima Complete is based on the same great design as Tracker's previous Maxima receivers. Weighing less than one pound, the Maxima Complete makes tracking from the field an easy option. Made to withstand the most demanding conditions, the on-board antenna is perfect for tracking in most situations. Bearing to the strongest signal can be detected either audibly or by viewing a graph on the LCD screen. The screen back-lighting system allows easy day or night use. The FCC rates the system as 12 miles line of sight, with 2.25 - 4 miles normal in the Ozark Mountains, and 4 - 7 in rolling mid-western terrain, and the full 12 miles in areas like West Texas. Like all Tracker receivers, it's light-weight - 14 ounces - and folds up for easy storage.

Integration with Long Range Yagi -- The receiver can operate using the standard folding antenna or with a variety of directional (Yagi) and non-directional (Omni) antennas using the SMA connector. When you need to track from extremely long distances, couple your Maxima Complete with a Yagi antenna. (If the Maxima Complete turns off when attaching the antenna, or will not turn on, the antenna is incompatible with the circuitry.)

Up to 25 Programmable Channels -- The Maxima Complete is fully programmable, and, depending upon model, capable of picking up frequencies in the 216.000-220.999 range. Of those, you can store up to 25 individual transmitter frequencies (also depending upon model) in a memory slot, allowing you to quickly flip through the channels and listen for your transmitter.

Additional Features on the Maxima Complete -- The Maxima Complete receiver is the latest generation of Tracker's Maxima receiver line. Tracker developed the Complete based on feedback from customers who sought to combine the flexibility of the Maxima with several advanced features:

Near Mode -- When your signal is overwhelmingly strong, or you are very close to the transmitter, the "Near" mode reduces the sensitivity of the receiver making it easier to set the gain, and pinpoint the exact location of the transmitter.

Frequency Fine Tune -- Transmitter frequencies often drift up or down based on temperature, humidity, and other external factors. You can now fine tune the frequency by adjusting the added fourth digit.

Louder Speaker -- The improved, louder speaker aids tracking when in the field.

Optional Accessories -- In some cases the use of an external antenna can facilitate the location of a transmitter, particularly from a vehicle or aircraft. You can connect an Omnidirectional or long range Yagi to the SMA connector on the Maxima Complete. Headphones plugged into the receiver also improve pinpointing your dog's location by filtering out much of the ambient noise found in the field.
