This is the Tri-Tronics Field 90. The Field 90 falls in between the Classic 70 and the Pro collars. What a Field 90 does is it has six levels of stimulation. But unlike the Classic 70, it has both continuous and momentary.
It's a three dog setup. You buy it as a one dog. You can add a second and a third collar at any time. A toggle switch controls it. It's black, red, and blue between Dog 1, Dog 2, and Dog 3. Has the same operation as all of the other Pro Field tube-style transmitters in that you have your dial on the back. It has your A for your accessory, which the accessory right now is the accessory beeper that's a birddog/pointing dog device if you want to know where your dog is. This unit will operate that. You can add that on.
It has tone. Green button on the top controls your tone. And then you have six levels of stimulation from the dial, 1-6. Red controls continuous stimulation, which continuous stimulation stays on as long as you hold the button down up to eight seconds. It has an automatic cutoff. After it cuts off you release the button and press again. Then you have momentary, which momentary is a fraction of a second. It's actually on and off faster than you can press and release the button.
So the 90 gives you a little more versatility compared to the 70 because the momentary, in certain situations, is going to work better for some dogs. It's a good mid-range collar—one mile as far as distance. It fits in for a lot of folks that are looking for something that has just a little more versatility than the Classic 70.
