This is the Tri-Tronics Flyway Special. The Flyway Special is a little bit different from some of the other Pro units in that it is designed specifically for waterfowl work. Really not that different, but they've made a few little tweaks to it that will fit your retriever just a little bit better.
The first one being is that it comes with the flat black hardware; something that's just not shiny. You've also go a three dog setup, but unlike the common black, red, blue, you have black, tan, and green. So, just a little more geared toward the waterfowl work, colors that are going to blend in just a little bit better.
The Flyway is set up more like a Pro 200 in that it is a momentary based collar. You have 18 levels of momentary, which those are your two black buttons. It's low momentary, medium momentary, and then press together for a high momentary.
So you have 1-6, and then on each stimulation level you have a low, medium, and high. So it's low, medium, high, turn your dial to 2, low 2, medium 2, high 2. So it's a progressive 18 levels of stimulation.
You also have six levels of continuous stimulation just like the Pro 200. So, it's low, medium, high. And then if you need your continuous it's up here at the top.
You've also got tone, which is real popular with the retriever folks. Roxy is taught to come to me with the sound of tone so that if she's out far enough where she cannot hear me through a whistle or a verbal command, all I have to do is press tone and she's going to stop what she's doing and immediately come back.
Same setup as the Field and Pro units. You have you're a on the dial which controls the accessory beeper. If you are somebody that does both waterfowl and upland and you want to add the Tri-Tronics beeper to this, you can. And it allows you to control it from the transmitter.
Six levels of stimulation. Easy to move up and down with your thumb. Just pretty typical of what Tri-Tronic has done with the Pro units. This one is just geared a little bit more toward waterfowl.
