The Tri-Tronics Classic 70 6 G2 EXP Six Dog Collar is a smaller, lighter, and improved version of the Tri-Tronics 70 XLS series collars that is designed for working six dogs from one transmitter. The transmitter has one black button to control the first dog, one red button to control the second dog, one blue button to control the third dog. A two position toggle switch allows you to select the fourth, fifth and sixth dogs using the dog 1, 2 and 3 buttons. There are color rings around the buttons that match the collar straps for dogs 4, 5 and 6.

The stimulation dial sets the level for all dogs.

This collar replaces the popular Field 70 and is the modern version of such Tri-Tronics classic collars as the original A1 70 and the Judge.

It is a full-size, full-range remote training collar with Tri-Tronics' reliability. At lower levels, its continuous stimulation can be used for teaching yardwork/obedience and at higher levels it can be used to overcome strong distractions and/or to stop chasing. Maximum range is based on "line of sight." This means that to get the full range out of a system there should be nothing between the transmitter and the receiver and the terrain should be flat and open. This isn't going to happen in most places that we spend time with our dogs.

The range on all of the systems that we carry will come down from the maximum based on training conditions, including weather, terrain, and the presence of cover.

Range is something that too much will never hurt, but too little can be a problem.
