This will be the third dog I have trained using the Richard Wolters' method. Like most, once I am done with training I seem to always lend out, initially the book and now the DVD to folks and that's the last time I see the material. Strongly recommend this method because it works, especially if your busy and don't have hours a day to train. Best of all, the entire family can and should help out so there is a strong level of consistency with the pup during the crucial develop stages.

I absolutely love this video. I rescued these dogs and they ended up having parvo and so I saved them. They were two months when I found them. By the time I had them to being fully healthy they were 6 months old. They ended up having a lot of health problems. By then they were out of control. Using this video, I have got them under control and they are listening so much better. I have been using this for about two weeks now. And so far, so good!

Bought this DVD 15+ years ago after buying Richard A.Wolters book Water Dog, because it was recommended by a pro trainer friend to watch some actual handling. Lent it out and never got it back. Bought another for my son. I feel this book and DVD are great / must have tools for self training a working / hunting retriever. Received the DVD from GDS in a timely manner.
