How to Match Additional / Replacement Dogtra Collars to Your 3500X System

Before you begin configuring the transmitter, determine how you want to use your system: 1-dog System or 2-dog System Front or Side buttons for Dog 1 Please read all steps before starting. If you plan on adding a second receiver later, use the 2-dog setup instructions. Transmitter Setup: 1. Hold the on/off button on the transmitter until there is a rapid green LED light and the screen shows "Setting Mode." 2. For a 1-dog system with Dog 1 on the front buttons, press the Nick/Constant button on the front. For a 2-dog system with Dog 1 on the front buttons, press the Pager button on the front. 3. For a 1-dog system with Dog 1 on the side buttons, press the Nick/Constant button on the side. For a 2-dog system with Dog 1 on the side buttons, press the Pager button on the side. Collar Setup: 4. Turn the transmitter on by pressing the on/off button and set both rheostat dials to 1. 5. With the receiver turned off, hold down the on/off button on the receiver until the LED light begins to rapidly blink green 6. For Dog 1, while the green LED is rapidly blinking on the receiver, press the Pager and Tone buttons you previously configured for Dog 1 simultaneously. The LED light on the receiver will blink every 4 seconds when pairing is complete. If you are configuring a 2-dog system, for Dog 2 repeat the entire Collar Setup process and press the Pager and Tone buttons on the transmitter you previously configured for Dog 2. NOTE: Do not code both receivers to the same side.
