The underground wire contains your dog without conventional fencing that can be chewed through or jumped over. The stimulation field can be adjusted with the transmitter. The Function Selection Switch allows you to quickly change from pager/vibration to corrective stimulation with the flip of a switch: In Pager + Stimulation Mode your dog will receive vibration before stimulation when approaching field boundaries. In Pager Only Mode your dog will receive a non-stimulating vibration only. When your dog feels the stimulation quickly pull them back and give them praise. You want your dog to learn the negative effect of the stimulation when they get close to the boundary. The dog must understand to get out of stimulation is to return to the center of the yard. Repeat this method in different areas of the yard to make them accustomed to the parameters.
