From Dokken Deadfowl Trainers - The DeadFowl Teal Launcher Dummy for use with the Retriev-R Trainer , Lucky Launcher , and Hallmark Tech-Launcher The bodies are made of a soft natural-feel foam with free swinging hard plastic head and feet and a natural dead bird weight. Encourages a proper pick up and hold while discouraging the shaking of birds. Dokken Dead Fowl Trainers float even when punctured and training scents may be injected directly into the body for added realism. Weighs approximately 8.8 oz and is 10 1/2 inches long. Dead Fowl Trainer Internal Scent System (available separately): To internally scent your Dead Fowl Trainer: Inject the training scent into the middle of the foam duck body in six different locations using the Dokken's Dead Fowl Scent Injector or a syringe (not provided). The foam body is designed to hold the training scent whether using the dummy in or out of the water. 1/2 to 3/4 ounce of training scent is sufficient. How to Deodorize Your Dokken Deadfowl Trainer: Mix 1 qt. 3% hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda, a squirt dish soap, and enough warm water to cover your dummy (up to a 1/2 gallon if needed). Soak dummy overnight and rinse off the next day. Set out in the sun to dry.
