    If you are looking at this go ahead and buy it. Did not know I cared about bowl features, but this is super easy to clean and the rubber on the bottom keeps it from sliding around. Perfect for my walker

    I purchased the "same" bowl from Amazon but it didn't compare to those I bought 10 years ago, the metal was thin and flimsy. I found a better version at Gun Dog Supply, although it's not the indestructible Durapet bowl of old, it is heavier and sturdier than the version sold on Amazon. Here's a comparison of weights:
    10 yr. old Durapet 8 cup bowl = 360 grams;
    Gun Dog Supply Durapet 8 cup bowl = 254 grams;
    Amazon Durapet 8 cup bowl = 214 grams.
    Pros
    • High quality metal bowl that should last without issue. Heavier gauge metal than the version sold on Amazon.

    The non slip bottom is great and it’s big enough to be the water bowl inside for two dogs. Easy to clean as well. Also have the medium size for food bowls. Fits three cups of food easy.

    This bowl is the best stainless steel dog bowl I have ever had. It's very heavy duty and extremely clean looking. It's almost mirror-like. The non-slide stuff on the bottom is top notch as well! The bowls do not move. I originally only ordered one bowl for my dogs water, but after two weeks I just ordered two more bowls because I like it so much. The Large size is pretty big. It's great for a water bowl. I could probably go down a size for food, but I would prefer the bowls to be the same size.

    I never thought I would give a dog bowl a review, cuz a dog bowl is a dog bowl, right? Not in this case! This bowl is far superior because of the bonded rubber ring on the bottom. It doesn't slide or make noise while the eager dog is feeding, and the overall construction is heavy duty. I wish I would have found this bowl long ago. I will not use a standard bowl again.

    I bought two of these bowls. They are perfect in every way and are a good price. I recommend them. I have every confidence they will last forever. I knocked off one star because on one of the bowls the sticky label had dried out and left all the glue behind on the bowl. I have tried various cleaning soaps and a couple of solvents, but nothing removes it. On the other bowl the label peeled off easily and left no residue.
