The Alpha 200 Plus is essentially the same system as the Alpha 300 — with one key difference: the screen.

The Garmin Alpha 200-Plus is one of my favorite handhelds FOR THE MONEY. It falls into an odd spot -- because everything about it is an Alpha 300. It's got the USB-C charging port, the 55-60 hours of runtime, the exact same software. The only difference is the screen -- it's the older-style "Alpha 200" display instead of the newer one on the 300. If you're running a handheld and tracking in Compass View, or you're in Map View using HuntView cards, or you just use the regular topo map that's included instead of the most detailed downloaded maps -- this is an absolute steal. You get everything except the fancy screen, for less money."
