The Instinct E supports up to 20 dogs through an Alpha unit. You don't have to be in the dog screen to get alerts -- notifications come through on any watch face. And you can navigate to the dog right from the wrist: direction, distance, done. --- HOW IT WORKS (IMPORTANT): The watch receives data from your handheld -- it's not independently tracking your dog. Your handheld needs to be on your body (vest, pocket, wherever you carry it). You don't have to hold it or look at it. You just need to be within range. One watch connects to one handheld.
