How to Match the Instinct to Your Alpha / Astro 430 / PRO 550+

Please read all steps before starting. NOTE: To get the best possible result, we recommend pairing your devices outside away from obstructions. 1. Update all of your devices to the latest software using Garmin Express. ALPHA and ASTRO 430 users proceed to step 2. PRO 550 PLUS users skip to step 5. 2. Go to the Main Menu on your Alpha or Astro 430 handheld and select "Setup." 3. Alpha 300 / 200 series users select "System." Alpha 100 / Astro 430 users select "Dogs." 4. Select "Broadcast Dog Data," then select "Enable." Broadcast Mode on your handheld should now be active. 5. Hold down the MENU button on your Instinct watch. 6. Select "Sensors & Accessories" (press the top right side button for "Enter"). 7. Select "Add New" and then select "Dog Track." 8. If pairing is successful, the screen will read "Sensors Found." Your handheld and watch are now connected. 9. To get to the Dog Tracking Screen, click "Back" until you reach the home screen. 10. Scroll down to "Dog Track Connected" and press Enter. You should now see your dog tracking data.
