GDS PRO 550 PLUS Transmitter Holster with Shoulder Strap

The holster fits the 550 plus very well and holds it securely. The shoulder strap worked better for me, the orange is highly visible and easily adjustable.

This case cover fits snugly and fastens with three elastic loops. It provides protection for the handheld while, at the same time, allowing the front window to be easily seen and the rear charging port to be readily accessed. It is offered in two forms, one with an attached brass snap to hook on belt loop and the other with a nylon strap. I chose the latter and then purchased the neck strap which loops through a part of the plastic case so it is secure and comfortable. The case is thick enough that it lessens the impacts that occur when one is walking or hiking in the field. The orange panels of course make it more visible than just the all black case. Recommend.

Hello,I wanted to share some feedback regarding the transmitter holster and strap we recently used. The setup worked exceptionally well! The holster provided a snug and secure fit, ensuring that the transmitter stayed firmly in place even with plenty of movement out in the field. This reliability made a noticeable difference and helped everything run smoothly. Thanks for providing such a well-designed solution.

Overall good quality. However, the design of the holster covers the power button, and it is difficult to get under the edge to push the button to turn it off when not in use. Needs to allow easier access to the power button.

Does the job I need to keep my handheld available for use with all different kinds of clothing securely without getting in the way of task while in the field with your dog.

Fits well, but covers the power button. You have to peel back the cover and overstretch the elastic loop around the antenna just to turn it on/off. Im sure after a season of hunting fit will diminish. Annoying and impractical for daily use. Unfortunately, I purchased 2 units too close to opening day so now we're stuck using them.

I like to carry my 550 in my vest or jacket when hunting and find belt holster cumbersome and distracting when in the field.

Great versatile holster for the 550. I use it with the shoulder strap when I'm not hunting and then throw a carabiner on it and attach it to my vest when hunting.

This this is indestructible. Such a well thought out design. There is no way for the remote to fall out. Plus so many options for you to carry it. Well done.

The little time I have used it has made it easier to use the 550 pro when running my dog.

Works great to protect my 550+. I ordered this instead of the snap unit because of the hand strap. What I didn't notice was it's really made to carry in your right hand and I carry mine in my left. I have a friend that sews and plan to have them reconfigure the hand loop for my needs. Other than that great product! Just a suggestion: If the hand loop was sewn at bottom and had a bungee loop at the top it could be moved to either the left or the right side and secured to either antenna.It would also make it a little tighter and more secure in the hand.

FINALLY a holster which fits the 550 Pro Plus. Very functional: can wear with several configurations, can recharge in holster, easy access to all control buttons, BEST EVER!

hoster sling is adjustable, cover is durable and protects the device.better access to turn on and off would be the only downside, I am nit picking here

This is just what was needed. Wish there was the same type of holster with shoulder strap for the 430!

The case fits nice and tight with no possibility of it coming out while traveling in the field. The shoulder strap allows the hand held to be situated in a very comfortable position along my torso with easy access. I highly recommend this carry case. It is made of high quality materials.

Well thought out. Functional, can charge without removing from holster. Openings actually line up with intended points. Well made. Strap keeps it tight to body, not swinging around.And same price as the leather models from other manufacturers, which do none of the above.

I have always struggled with the leather holster that came with my Pro 550 Plus. I don't like to have it dangling from the attachment point and flopping around. So, I have been looking for an alternative since I purchased it 3-years ago. Thanks to Steve I have a holster that works for me. I attach it firmly to the shoulder strap of my bird vest. It is positioned where I can access the controls as required without it acting as an annoying pendulum. When used on our many hikes in the mountains the hand strap or the shoulder strap do the trick. Wish this holster had been around sooner!
