Martha Greenlee established Piney Run Kennel in 1991. She currently lives in south-central Virginia, where she breeds and trains Brittanys, although she enjoys working all pointing breeds. She has trained and handled her dogs to wins in all-age and shooting dog championships, and many of her dogs have earned AKC Field Champion Titles. Her dog NAC/FC/AFC Piney Run Sam won the Brittany National Amateur Championship in 2000, and her dog NFC/FC/AFC Pine Run Art won the Brittany National Championship in 201. Besides breeding and training, Martha also enjoys writing about dogs.
Training Tips Your Bird Dog Will Love is designed to take with you to the training field, but it isn’t about how to train as much as it is about how to think about training. The tips and ideas came from everyday situations of working dogs and consist of problems and questions Martha encountered as she trained her dogs using the Bill West method.
