Do not use bedding in your dog house when using the Hound Heater Classic. This includes straw, cedar shavings, beds, pillows, etc. The Hound Heater Classic stays at about 130 degrees and will heat an average size dog house (typically 48" L X 24" T X 24" W -- approx. 16 cubic feet). At 0 degrees F outside, the house will stay around 40 degrees F. If you need to warm a larger area, multiple heaters may be installed. The best part is it is safe and easy to install. When properly installed in an upper corner of the house, it doesn't take up any laying space for your dog. The galvanized metal housing is super strong and will last for many years, unlike traditional mat heaters. Comes with a 6-foot power cord and a1-year manufacturer's warranty. Monitor the temperature inside your doghouse with an indoor/outdoor thermometer. Power Draw: 0.75 amps Dimensions: 6"H x 5 1/2"W x 5 1/2"D Not UL listed. Installation Instructions: WALL MOUNT ONLY. Not intended for floor or ceiling mounting. Failure to mount properly could result in damage to the Heater / Dog House. 1. Measure down the wall 7" and over 7" from a top corner of the dog house. 2. Drill a 7/8" to 1" dia. hole at the previously located mark. 3. Run Hound Heater cord through your hole. 4. Mount 4 screws in the base of the Hound Heater. 5. Completed installation.
