NOTE: Measuring your dog is the most accurate way to determine the proper harness size. If your dog is between two sizes, choose the smaller.
Small -- fits dogs approx. 15-35 lbs.
Chest Girth: 19-25"
Medium -- fits dogs approx. 35-70 lbs.
Chest Girth: 24-34"
Large -- fits dogs approx. 70+ lbs.
Chest Girth: 26-39"
1. Open quick-release buckles on the girth straps and slide harness over dog's head.
2. Adjust neck straps, evenly on both sides. When fit properly, the chest plate should rest on breast bone.
3. Pull girth straps between the front legs. Adjust girth straps for a comfortable snug fit.
4. When fit properly, two fingers should barely fit between the fur and nylon straps of the shoulders and girth. This prevents movement of the harness. The pack should rest along the center of the dog's back.
Standard Harness Use
Attach leash to D-ring on the back of the harness.
To reduce leash pulling, attach leash to D-ring on the front of the harness.
These are NECK SIZE COLLARS which means the dog's measured neck size IS the collar size.
Measure Your Dog's Neck to ensure a proper fit.
Use a measuring tape, cloth tape, or a piece of string (and measure the string).
Measure your dog's neck where you want the collar to rest on the neck AND at the appropriate tightness.
Once you have a measurement, refer to the Guide below to find the appropriate size.
The neck size (NS) represents the measurement from the center of the buckle to the fourth adjustment hole.
You can adjust approximately 1-inch longer or 2.5-inches shorter. Keep in mind that using the shorter adjustment holes will leave more collar strap extending past the buckle.
