    We and our Corgi love this product!!
    Keeps him just warm enough inside his dog house.
    The mat does not get hot, it simply keeps Baxter from getting cold. On the coldest days, he's comfortable in his house.
    Pros
    • Love that the cord is wrapped in a metal spring. Perfect for inside a dog house.
    • None of the other brands that we looked at had this feature.

    Just what I needed

    Purchased as it fits in a Large, 50 lb. to 90 lb. Petmate? Dog House (Igloo shaped) (just fits in the round floor portion but have to open a side connector on the dog house to get it in as won't go through the door.)
    Pros
    • Works perfectly for a Basset in below freezing weather. Put a Kong? 19"x30" crate mat on top of the heated mat. Combination fits perfectly in the round portion of the igloo floor.
    Cons
    • Cover is a joke. Didn't last 10 seconds. Not a big deal as I didn't expect it to survive contact with a dog. The dog had fun.

    This fit perfect in our dog’s house. She is in there even when she doesn’t need to be! She is an older dog and she apparently enjoys the comfort and warmth it provides. Very happy with this purchase. Much less expensive than another popular site.

    1/8 inch too long for my application. I had a Lectra Kennel brand that I was replacing. Unfortunately, this brand won't fit where the other brand would.

    Does a great job. Bella seems to really enjoy the heat. She is a neat freak, and this works far better than having nasty smelly straw in her pen.
