It's one of those little things that can stop your training dead in its tracks. Handheld dummy launchers (like the RRT) don't work very well without the o-ring. The o-ring is what keeps the gas inside that is created by the load and it shoots the dummy in the air. I have seen o-rings last for years and I have seen them fail in weeks. Always keep a few spares on hand to replace yours as needed.
