The Ruff Land Kennels Large Left-Side Entry Double Door Dog Crate is made from high-quality plastic and molded into a single piece for added strength. This kennel will withstand the abuse of trainers, handlers, hunters, and guides.
Torture Testing: The Ruff Land Kennel was dropped from a height of 12 feet with no noticeable effect. After four drops the kennel showed only scratches and stains from the concrete and grass. No splits or cracks were evident. The Ruff Land Kennel was fired at with a full choke charge of number 6s from about 15 paces, and only a handful of pellets penetrated. I purchased the kennel for my wired haired Griffon who has terrible seperation anxiety when in a kennel. He has broken out of most wired kennels, once getting his head stuck between the wires of our collaspable cage and almost suffocating. He is a rehome and has been kenneled most of his life, but for some reason he struggles at our house. I needed a new kennel for hunting as I don't trust him 100% and the last thing I need is him to destroy something in a hotel room. I also need something for the back of my truck for when I go with a group. He is too big compared to my springer to ride in the cab of my truck if I am taking others to hunt with me. I wanted something that was safe and escape proof and this kennel has met expectations. He still has some anxiety, but with the more cozy demisnions of the large, he has not been able to escape and seems to calm down sooner when kept in this kennel. I am happy with its performance.
Pros
One piece plastic with a secure door that doesn't just pop open.
