Why Slide-On Instead of Riveted?

Traditional brass ID plates only attach on the buckle end of a collar strap, adding nearly three inches of length. On a smaller dog or a pup, that extra bulk can prevent proper probe contact — and inconsistent skin contact means inconsistent stimulation. That's a problem you don't want in the field.

Slide-on ID plates thread directly onto the strap and position wherever works best for your setup. No rivets, no permanent modifications, no fit issues.

Multiple Mounting Positions

On a standard FlexBand (TT 25 and similar), you have four options:

• Buckle side — accessible but adds some strap length
• Under the electronics — Steve's top pick; opposite the prongs, out of the way of everything


• Top of the FlexBand — clean fit, works great with both small and large plates


• After the GPS antenna — best suited for larger dogs

On a mini FlexBand, three positions are available. The bottom mount remains the preferred choice — it won't interfere with signals, stimulation, charging, or indicator lights.
