Slides onto E-collar straps only. The included carabiner clip is required to attach to standard dog collars. The SportDOG Locator Beacon Dog Tracking Light comes with the 3/4" collar strap adapter pre-installed. If you want to use it on a 1" collar strap, just remove the adapter by popping it out of the base. Features: Bright, long range light Changes from solid to blinking with the press of a button 250 hours of battery life Uses two replaceable CR2032 batteries (included) Fits both 3/4" and 1" collar straps Waterproof and submersible Includes carabiner clip for attachment almost anywhere Instructions: To power on, press and hold the on/off button for 2 seconds Press and hold the on/off button again for 2 seconds to change between solid and blinking mode To power off, press and hold the on/off button for 6 seconds (if the button is released prior to 6 seconds it will cycle to either blinking or solid mode) Battery Replacement: Open the Locator Beacon by rotating the lens 45 degrees according to the "OPEN" arrow Install two CR2032 lithium batteries so that the positive indicator on each battery matches the positive indicator on the Locator Beacon base To close, insert the lens so it is flush in the base then push down and twist 45 degrees according to the "CLOSE" arrow on the base Attaching the Carabiner Clip: With the collar strap adapter removed from the base, feed the lanyard through the base Insert the collar strap adapter through the lanyard Firmly press the collar strap adapter into the base of the Locator Beacon
