dogs pads in top condition before hunting season. I prefer to start using it a couple of weeks before I
start running them. We apply it a couple of times a day when possible.
I also use it during the year as a preventative. It soaks in good and can get to small cuts deep in between your dogs pads.

Just wanted to thank you for the Tuf-Foot I bought at the beginning of this duck season in SE Virginia. We hunt a large range of places here in VA and a lot of those include oyster and mussel beds in the salt marshes. Before using the Tuff-Foot bonaseptic my Toller's pads were cut up and raw from hunting divers on the James River in the shadow of the Newport News Shipyards. I haven't had a cut on her pads since and she has developed tougher pads as a result of using this product. Putting the solution on her feet is exceptionally easy and she gets excited when she sees the bottle.
