Very realistic except it does not have the floppy head of a dead bird, although this is difficult to achieve. I like it much better than the Dokkens where the head breaks almost always after a couple of launches.

"This thing launches like crazy. Love it!"
By: Phillip LeBlanc From
Hunts. This thing launches like crazy. Love it! Using yellow and green shots from the DT launcher. It does great. Green shoots it a good distance. Can't wait to see what red does. My dog is 8 months old and is ready for the longer distances that the red .22 shots can produce.

Hunts. Family pet. They work well with the DT series launcher. The head breaks off eventually with the hard landings. But overall they work great. This dummy does fly much farther than the foam dummies.

Hunts. Competes. These are good, but I am not liking the fact that they are not lasting very long under my training of two dogs. The dogs are not tearing them up. It is caused by the repeated launches because they are cracking and breaking 1/3 up from the bottom. I am not bashing these dummies, I am just giving a honest response. My dogs love them and it has Improved their marking skills.

Goldens. Owns 4 dogs. Hunts. Family pet. Competes. Falls apart after about 30 launches, material needs to be stronger and it would be an excellent product.

I think that this dummy looks really good but after some pretty heavy use the foam falls apart.

Launch the "Duck Mark" and your dog trains with the shape and flight of a real bird. The "tumbling action" duplicates a dead bird falling. The "Duck Mark" has the weight and feel of a dead duck, is excellent for water training, and can be scent impregnated.
Weighs approximately 8.8 oz and is 10 1/2 inches long.
To internally scent your Dead Fowl Trainer: Inject the training scent into the middle of the foam duck body in six different locations using the Dokken's Dead Fowl Scent Injector or a syringe (not provided). The foam body is designed to hold the training scent whether using the dummy in or out of the water. 1/2 to 3/4 ounce of training scent is sufficient.
How to Deodorize Your Dokken Deadfowl Trainer:
Mix 1 qt. 3% hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda, a squirt dish soap, and enough warm water to cover your dummy (up to a 1/2 gallon if needed). Soak dummy overnight and rinse off the next day. Set out in the sun to dry.
