We get some really interesting ones with information that really has no place on a dog tag.
We will put anything you want on your ID plates, but keep in mind that the main purpose of an ID plate is to get your dog home safely if he gets lost. In our opinion, anything else has no place on a tag.

By: P. TrimmierI would like to tell you how the collar with a name tag saved my dogs life. He jumped the fence and got hit by a truck. Some people stopped when thy saw him hit. Called the number on the collar.
I was able to take him to an emergency hospital. They stabilized him right away. With the exception of a few scratches he is doing fine now.

Additional Dog Collar Name Plates

When you order most of our collars, you get a FREE machine-stamped brass I.D. plate (2.75" x .75") with up to 4 lines of text which we attach to your collar using rivets. If you would like for us to also attach this additional ID plate to your collar, put a note in the COMMENTS field when you place your order.
 Enter your contact information in the blank form above. We recommend that you list multiple phone numbers along with your name, city, state, and address if you have room.
Our tags will fit up to 4 lines of information.
The top and bottom lines are longer and will fit 20 letters. Lines 2 and 3 are shorter - fitting only 18. This is because of the placement of the rivets.
Our ID Plate machine can stamp the following characters:
Letters A - Z (Caps Only)
Numbers 0 - 9
Special Characters @ . - #

Instructions for attaching I.D. plates using rivets:
All you need to fasten your I. D. tag to your collar is a hammer. Just put the stud part of the rivet through from the bottom. Put the crown over the stud and hammer it closed on a hard surface (smooth concrete or steel). You should drive the 2 pieces of the rivet together until the upper surface flattens out. Your I D tag is now attached.
