"No complaints about this tool; even recommend it."

Hunts. Not known a dog yet that likes its nails clipped, and my current boon-companion is no exception--and in spades! But this clipper is sufficiently sturdy that the operation is clean and expeditious. Two minutes after, neither of us remembers the ordeal, even. Don't know what it is with this particular dog, but his nails grow prodigiously, and quickly, and presents a problem in the field: Get hung up on any incidental feature of the landscape and are painful. Regular clipping of the nails is a necessity. No complaints about this tool; even recommend it.

Hunts. Trims nails very easy. They are sharp and easy to use. Before your dog has a chance to pull their paw away you are done, as with any trimmer only take a little at a time about once a week or ten days.

The Four Paws Super Nail Clipper for Large Breeds gives you positive cutting action. This nail clipper is used by veterinarians and professional pet handlers. It is recommended for use on dogs, cats, birds and other household pets. It is designed with a movable safety bar to prevent over-cutting and has large handles to offer a comfortable grip. Also features an adjustable latch to control how wide the clippers open.
Nail Trimming is an important part of your dog's grooming. Most dog's dislike nail trimming because their paws are so sensitive. If the nails are not cut, problems can arise. On an average, nail trimming once a month is usually sufficient. However, you must consider your pet's daily activities and wear on the nails.
If your pet's nails are extremely long, trim just a little off and wait a week to trim the nails again. This will allow the blood vessels to retreat back into the nail. Repeat this procedure once a week until you have reached the desired length.
