Today we are looking at the TufFlex check cords. TufFlex is a synthetic material that has the feel and the look of leather but it doesn't have the issues that leather has as far as drying out and rotting. You don't have to care for it like you have to care for leather.

It is a smaller flat check cord. Some folks like that. What's nice about these compared to a lot of the rope check cords is it's not going to pick up burrs. It's not going to pick up dirt. It's a neat little check cord and it keeps its color. That's a big deal. If you are running through the grass and you are trying to stop a dog, you can see this one a lot easier than just a brown rope.

I've used them off and on the last couple of years and been happy with them. It's a great material. Feels good in the hand. Just a neat little check cord. Real important part of dog training. You want to find one that you like. I've used these off and on and have been pleased with them.
