Summary: Great collars nice feeling in hand while handling dogs loading/catching in the field. Mild stretching feel when lifting dog which I like cause I think it acts as a shock absorber.

I like that it doesn't smell as bad as a leather collar, and it holds up better than the leather collar.
I'd recommend this collar to anyone. Only problem I see is it seems to be shrinking the older my dog gets. Or maybe my dog is getting fatter.
It's a good collar.

I LOVE this collar. It looks great and does not absorb water so it never smells. I have it in brown, which does resemble real leather. I bought a red one for my mother's dog and while it doesn't look as much like leather, it still looks really nice. Hudson has worn this collar for about two years and it still looks pretty good. People always ask me where I got it. Highly recommended!

We're on a lake, so the dog is in the lake all day most days. The K-9 Komfort TufFlex Center Ring Dog Collar dries quickly, and shows no wear after a couple of seasons. We ordered it with two brass name plates--one with our neighbor's contact info, and the name plates are still easily read and firmly attached. I received the fully engraved collar the second day after ordering it with no "express mailing." Great service!

These collars are wonderful! I have bought just about every collar invented for dogs and these are by far my favorite. They do not break the hair or rub the skin around a dog's neck. They don't smell after getting wet. If they do get dirty, they are very easy to clean with a little soap and water. No fading! They last several years. I did have a few crack around the center ring and rivets after a year. However they are so affordable that I will replace those with new Komfort Tuflex collars.

I am pretty happy with this collar. I tie my dogs for short periods frequently, mostly to manage shade and to keep them from running hogs in the heat--- and the center ring is a plus for the dogs comfort I think. The lime green was a nice different look, and of course it sunburned immediately but I have no problem with that. I generally prefer leather collars, but this is a nice change. I would rate it better than good.

Extremely durable collar. Doesn't retain odors (huge plus!!) like most collars. The color hasn't faded (I bought the bright orange). The center ring helps to add more flexibility to a flat collar. With having a German Shorthaired Pointer and her very thin coat, this collar's material hasn't irritated her skin in the least. All around great collar.

Great collar. I like that you can personalize the collar with your ownership info, etc. Made well, extremely durable. Has lasted 2+ years. One knock is that the collar's color has faded a tad. Not a big issue. Still looks safety orange, jut not as bright. Probably because I can't keep the damn dog out of the pool but either way.

The K-9 Komfort TufFlex center ring dog collars are the BEST collar I have ever owned. The center ring is great for snapping a leash while the D ring holds their license and ID tags. We walk in the woods and the bright colored collars are very visible. When they get dirty they clean up with soap and water and look like brand new. We live close to the shores of Lake Michigan so we walk along the beach. These collars are not affected by water and they are very durable. These high quality collars hold up to our harsh cold winters. We have ten standard poodles and five of them are black, so having different colored collars helps me to know which one I am calling. I plan to order some more soon just to have a variety of colors. I am not one to write reviews or brag up a business, but Gun Dog Supply will always be first choice for all my dogs needs. I love that this collar is impervious to the elements. There are no folds for hair to collect in. The collar is hard to find (white.) I love the brass ID plate riveted on. It is made of a rubber material that dries in seconds. The ONLY thing I don't really like is that the material shows metal rub in the form of dark gray areas mostly near where her tags are attached. That is a nitpick and not really a negative, as it will come off easily with a bit of alcohol. Oh yeah...the price was awesome and I love that it is made in America. Thanks Steve Snell. I will buy again.

This collar is extremely tough and does not wear out! Briars, swamps, water - you name it and it has been through it with no wear and tear to show. I am not even sure how many years i have had mine now but it certainly does not need to be replaced.

Awesome product. Very well made. I only wish I hadn't changed my phone number as I now need new plates. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again. After one year they clean up great and both of my dogs are chewers and have not hurt these one bit.

I put a small cow bell on the dog's collar and the central ring and the buckle are larger than the ring on the Durasoft making it harder to put the bell on.
Also I think the length of the collar from buckle to tip is longer than the Durasoft, so the collar is just a bit too long for one of my dogs (although I might have mismeasured_ - not really enough to "complain about", but since you asked.
It ireally is a fine collar.

The collar is ok. I expected it to last longer without cracking. The red color is also rubbing off and dying the white hair on my dog's neck red. I don't think I'd order another one. I have an orange one on my other dog which is holding up fine.

This collar has the soft feel of leather, but without the upkeep and maintenance of leather. When it becomes dirty, all that is needed to bring back that clean and new look is a wipe down with only soap and water. The collars are sturdy and do not stretch the slightest amount.

No problems with the collars. I didn't think they held their color as long as they should of. I like collars with the double rings and with getting a name plate at a good price, it was the right collar for me.

The two I currently own are great, it lost a star because the first one I bought broke within the first week. The material tore at the Center ring while I had my dog on a lead clipped onto the D ring.
Gun Dog Supply customer service is great. I sent them an email with a picture of the broken collar and they sent a replacement immediately.

I really like the fact that they come in so many different colors. They are very flexible, even in cold weather and are very easy to clean. The things I don't like are the fact that they still do fade over a period of time, especially the bright yellow. After about 9 months of use on my youngest dog, the collar was starting to split around the ring and the buckle. They are not supposed to absorb odors and I will agree with that except for skunk. My youngest one just got skunked here about 3 weeks ago and I had to toss the collar out. This didn't surprise me because I have not seen any collar material that will not absorb skunk smell. The collars on the other two dogs, which are blue and orange, are still in great shape after a year. The only complaint I have received from my customers is that some of the collars have faded from sunlight, yellow being the worst and more so on dogs that are outside all the time.

Material, hardware and construction are all great but the fit on a less than stocky dog is not. The material is so thick that where the D-ring is placed that looks like a big knot on top of the dog's neck. I'm sure if he was a lab it would be fine but I will be looking at the other option.

I ordered one of these collars back in August. So far it has been great. The name plate seems to still be in great shape after daily wear and tear. I take the dogs out daily and work them. They are on leashes often and the center ring is great for walking. I will be buying more of these in the orange color for hunting season.

The collar material itself is great. The gigantic ridges on the underside of the collar where it is riveted for the center ring and buckle are horrible. They rubbed hot spots on my dog's neck within a couple of weeks, causing bleeding sores. Would never buy or recommend this collar until that issue is resolved.
