Summary: I have used these for years. I do a lot of hunting, some field trialing. When training with E-collars, I leave this collar on, and it doesn't get in the way, I like the 1 inch and put the name tags on with address and phone number. This has got me my dog back several times over the years. I like the collar construction, and do not need/want a D ring. I will get more. |

They are durable and don't stretch, rot or fray. And they come in enough colors that I can put a different collar on each dog to tell them apart. The more recent batch had a rough edge inside where the center ring was riveted, and that has worn off the fur on the necks of the dogs. I had to switch these for leather and nylon collars, because they irritate the dog's necks. For some reason, the older version purchased here did not have this problem. By: DustyI failed to notice the collar has no D ring near buckle to put rabies tag on. The vinyl coating sticks to the top ring, defeating the "roll" characteristic should the collar get hung on fence or brush while in the field. I was seduced by the gorgeous emerald color and slim width. I should have stuck with leather.2 211 |

 To ensure a perfect fit, measure your dog's neck before you order. These collars are measured from the middle of the buckle to the 2nd adjustment hole. This allows adjustment of 3" smaller or 1" larger. There is no need to add inches to the actual measurement of your dog's neck - the size of the dog's neck is the collar size needed.
