By: susan brown2 dogs: dobermans. Competition dog. I use these kennels inside my garage, connected by dog doors in the outside wall of the garage, into 5 X 10 runs. I really like these kennels. My dogs are safely contained , I don't worry about my younger girl catching a toenail in the chain link, because it is NOT chainlink ! it is WELDED wire panels . My young girl is a trampoline artist... She uses her kurnda bed as a trampoline to jump up and bounce with her front paws on the 4" high front wall of the kennel. It holds her no problem. she is about 75lbs. I could put a top on it , but I don't see a need to . Well made, safe, easy to clean with a damp rag if needed, because of the baked on coating on the panels. Easy to install and take down. Stores easily in little space, if not needed. I looked at lots of kennels, and found these the nicest shorter ones anywhere. . I also have the Behlen 'Magnum' and 'Club' kennels for the outdoor runs, because of the 6 ft high walls. But for inside my garage, the 4" high petsafe cottageview kennels are wonderful. You can put a top on them (they sell top panels) and then use the top for storage, if you want.
Also if you are putting them on a solid wall , you end up with extra panels . With the 2 kennels I have , ( put together with one wall in common , and placed against the wall of the garage), I have 4 extra 2X4' panels. so I could make the girls inside kennels, 7.5 ft by 5 Ft. instead of the 5 X 5 kennels with a common wall in between. But 5 X 5 is plenty big for a large kurnda bed and space for a large dog door, and buckets and food bowl room also. You cant go wrong with these kennels.5 2832 |
