"I love my SportDOG 10R no-bark collars. They work wonders! I have 4 dogs that require a bark collar every night and then I keep a few around incase I have a female in heat or some other distraction that gets the rest of my dogs worked up.
I also have one pointer - "Merle" that only barks when he is on the dog truck. He doesn't bark when we are still or going in reverse, but the second you put the truck in drive he barks non stop. The 10 R stops him cold. It's the best on the market."
The 10R gives you multiple stimulation options to fit your dogs needs.
Temperament Learning -- "Green light" This mode begins at level 0 and increases the stimulation as the dog barks. Once the collar finds the right level it sets it's self to that level and remains there until the dog barks again. If the dog continues to bark the intial level will increase until your dog finds the right level for him. The 10R comes out of the box in this mode.
Progressive Correction - "Blue and Green light" This mode increases the stimulation with every bark like the Temperament Learning mode but in 30 seconds increments. Once the collar finds the level that will get the dog to stop barking for 30 seconds then it resets to level 0. If the dog barks later it starts at the lowest level again.
This is the mode that I use on the majority of my dogs. What I LOVE about the progressive correction is that it allows the dog a couple of free barks with very low level corrections. This is great for the dog that "forgets" he has a collar on from time to time and just needs a little reminder to stop.
I have one hard headed barker "Sage" the GSP. I can't use Progressive on him so he gets User-Selected Direct Set stimulation.
User-Selected Direct Set Stimulation "Blue with a number level" -- This mode allows you to set the exact level that your dog requires to get his attention.
This is the SportDOG SBC 10R no bark collar. This is my favorite bark collar and it's the one that we recommend the majority of the time nowadays.
What I like the most about this particular bark collar is it has three different modes of operation. You have two progressive modes and then one direct set mode. What is a progressive mode does is that as the dog continues to bark, it starts at the lowest level, the dark barks, and it gradually increases the stimulation as the dog barks until it finds the level that stops the dog from barking.
The first mode is designed to increase to the level that stops the dog from barking. And then once the dog stops, it lowers itself by one level and sits there. And if the dog barks again, it then starts at that level and increases up until it stops the dog from barking again.
The second mode is what I use. It starts at the lowest level, increases as the dog barks. Once he gets to the point that he has stopped barking and is silent for a short period of time, it immediately resets itself to the lowest level. That's a great mode for dogs that are not just really bad barkers. It gives them the opportunity to bark once or twice and receive a low level correction and be reminded that, "Hey, you are wearing a bark collar and barking's not good." But it doesn't overstimulate the dog. It really lets him control it. and then once he figures out what's going on it drops the level back down lower. The majority of my dogs work on that level and they work really well.
The third mode is a direct set mode. The 10R has 10 levels of stimulation. And in the direct set you can find the level that your dog requires and you can put it directly on that level. I have one dog that really needs that. On this collar he works on a 7. Anything less than that, including the progressive modes, he's going to bark, and he's going to bark a good bit. So for Sage we set this collar on a direct set number 7, and it is rare; once he gets that first correction he's usually through. He won't bark while he's wearing the collar.
It's a rechargeable bark collar, which, for years, I was not a big fan of. But battery technology has really caught up with it. I can go a while without charging them. I have eight of these at the kennel and I only have one charger. I rotate through every once in a while. I can easily go a couple of weeks without charging one.
Great little bark collar. It's got a screen on it. You control all the changes through the button on the front. Very simple to use. We've been real happy with them.
"My son recommended this collar and he was right. We only had to use the collar twice, on the lowest setting, and our dog quit barking at the neighbor dog for a week."
My son recommended this collar and he was right. We only had to use the collar twice, on the lowest setting, and our dog quit barking at the neighbor dog for a week. She then went outside and barked and all I had to do was show her the collar and she stopped barking. Thank you for this great product. I highly recommend this product for anyone who is trying to train a dog to quit barking.

Just wanted to let you know that we love the 10R collar. We've had it for about a month or so and it works great! This is at least the 4th if not the 5th no bark collar that we have purchased over the years and the 10R works far better that any other collar. The fact that Raleigh doesn't bark at all when wearing the collar has really calmed him down.
Thank you. It is easy to use and holds its charge. The customer service we received has been excellent. It is a terrific value.

mixed. Family pet. We have an 8 month old mixed breed dog who we adopted from the Humane Society. He barked a lot at anything and everything, which would get our other two dogs all stirred up and they would join in the barking as well. We purchased the SportDOG NoBark SBC-10R Rechargeable No-Bark Dog Collar online. He got a correction the first time he barked and seemed to be a quick learner. His constant barking has totally stopped! It is also waterproof, which is important because this dog loves to jump in our pond. We are so glad to have found this product!

Owns 2 dogs. Family pet. In doubt?? Just get it! I have a 140 pound Greater Swiss and an 85 pound mixed Shepherd. Swiss is an alarm dog, Shepherd is a constant barker. I have tried nearly every type of collar. Just ask my credit card. Got the Tri-Tronics (now Garmin) limiter. That one works OK, but we were not getting consistent control over barking and the shepherd can be consistent barker. We were going crazy - annoying us, and I am certain the neighbors as well. Finally found this site and read all the information and reviews and felt it was our last chance at a working controller. Almost bought the Garmin 2 in 1 training collar with bark limiter to give added (manual) control but figured it would only work as well as my current bark limiters. I took the plunge and ordered two of the SBC-10R units. Life is good now. I use the "progressive" as recommended, and we get occasional barks (which we like), but not the incessant barking. Had them two weeks now, and so far they have been great. Last night was Halloween and figured with all the neighborhood traffic it would be a good test. Right off the bat the incessant barking started up, and boy I was unhappy. Stomped outside with the thought of another big expense on collars down the tube. Turns out my wife did not turn the collars on. Turned them on and the dogs went right back to occasional single bark. Hint - like most electronic devices, they must be turned on to work! So far an excellent product. Gun Dog Supply was great to work with. Website is full of information and easy to use. Highly recommend the product and GDS.

Full Collies. Owns 2 dogs. Family pet. This is the best product! We had cheap bark collars from the pet store that we had to replace the batteries in, and they did not work. These collars don't even have to be tight and they work great. Dogs bark once and that's it, they don't bark again! I love that they can be re-charged. We put them on every time they go out in the yard, and take them off when they come in. Solved all our neighbor problems with barking.

Owns 2 dogs. Family pet. I waited to send my review because I had to wait until the snow melted and my kennel dried up before I could really test it. When I was finally able to put the dogs outside, I was amazed how fast it worked. He stopped barking almost right away. I have had other collars that were inconsistent and eventually just stopped working. I have a box of broken collars, so I did some reading before I ordered another one. I finally settled on the 10R after reading this website and the many positive reviews. I love all the features of this collar. So far it is working great. Thanks!

Hound/Shepherd Mix. Family pet. Love this collar. I adopted this dog from a county shelter in Dec 2013, whom would have euthanize him shortly. He has been a terrific dog, gets along with the senior beagle I have and the cat. He was already house broken, but not really trained beyond that.
About a month after having him, he started to experience severe separation anxiety. It was to the point that he was harming himself, ie bit his tongue several times, and eventually broke a tooth trying to get out of his crate while I was at work. He even started to urinate out the side of his crate onto the floor. You could see him getting all worked up in the morning when I was getting ready and grabbed my keys. His barking was terrible and I just knew animal control would eventually be called do to his nuisance barking.
I spoke with my vet, whom also extracted his broken tooth, and we decided to put him on an anti anxiety med. We believe he will eventually grow out of it, since his history is unknown and was most likely abandoned. The meds did help a little but do take a while to kick in. I then remembered I had an anti bark collar, and decided to try it. It was an off brand I bought years ago. I used it once (about 15 min), and hated it. It constantly corrected him and he would just sit in the center of his crate panting like crazy.
So one day I was reading reviews on different collars and stumbled upon this device. I am glad I decided to try it. It has been such a positive outcome. No more nuisance barking, no more urinating. I like the fact that it only corrects the nuisance barking and will not correct him for every noise he would make. I also like how it will adjust to only use the minimal amount of stimulation necessary to correct him. It only took about 1-2 days for him to adjust. He doesn't even fear the collar(unlike the last one). I highly recommend this product. I can't attest to the durability yet, but from what I read it is very reliable.

Owns 8 dogs. Family pet. Competes. This is by far the best bark collar I have tried. Bernese aren't normally big barkers, but I do have one young dog with a very high pitched bark that barks constantly when moving from room to room in the house, or as she goes outside. She is so loud it hurts your ears. I put this collar on her using the progressive learning mode. After a few hours, her barking was almost down to nothing. Now after a week of use, she isn't barking at all when wearing the collar, and her barking is reduced a lot when the collar is off. I would recommend this collar and plan to buy another.

After trying citronella collars and high-frequency boxes, we were at our wits end when a neighbor called the police to complain. Within 1 week of putting the collars on, both dogs have significantly decreased their barking. We've kept them on training mode which seems to work and lets them get a bark or two out. miniature schnauzers. Owns 5 dogs. Family pet. I purchased two of these collars at the same time. I have two little schnauzers that are barkers. It has worked 100% on one of them to eradicate barking, while the dog is WEARING the collar. I can put the collar on her and even with it turned off, she will not bark. It only had to shock her twice for her to never bark again when wearing the collar. When collar is off, she still barks. The other little schnauzer has it set on a 6 and it shocks her every time she barks. It has reduced her barking by about 50%. Sometimes she chooses to bark even tho you can tell she is being shocked. My dogs wear the collars only when they go outside or if I am leaving the house. The instructions tell you the dog should not wear the collar more than about 12 hrs a day. They are set up to charge very easily. I would guess they hold a charge for about a month and recharge fairly quickly. I had had other bark collars before and every time I turned around I was having to buy more expensive batteries for them. These collars have been well worth it to me and I think my neighbors probably appreciate the fact that I bought two of them. The LED light is also good. One night the collar fell off my dog and i was able to find it by walking thru the dark and seeing the LED light blinking on it. When these collars bite the dust, I will get more of them. I think they are even cheaper now than when I got mine. Well worth the money to keep the neighbors happy.

The ability to adjust these collars to meet these different needs is perfect! I don't have to worry about false corrections either, since the collar needs both the vibration AND the sound before making a correction. Nobody gets a warning or correction because someone else barked. Good stuff here. My neighbor said she hasn't heard my dogs bark in the 3 months we have had these collars. They still play and rough-house, just without barking now. I like the fact that they are easy and quick to recharge. Easy to operate and adjust. Very reliable with no false signals. 1st reaction: "woof woof woof" and "zip" He went "Yip" with a little shock and came right back to me
Oh, my...the 3rd day was hard for me.... I cried when my dog "Yipped"
but after that, he DID STOP!
Now, I have this collar for a couple of weeks. As soon as I put or show him the collar, he is the quiet boy.
Yes, we still hear another dog barks, but my dog does not bark at all like he used to be. He just whines and that`s it.
This product worked great on my dog!
Thank you, Steve!
P.S. I just placed my order for Remote training collar...I can`t wait to try on him.

Owns 3 dogs. Hunts. Family pet. This is the 2nd one I have bought for my girls. They have a great time barking, jumping on the fence & claiming their space & yard. I love them to death, but our neighbors wish we would move. So my husband & I have gone to bark collars & fencing reinforcements to correct this problem. And I take them running to work off their high energy. Hounds are smart & they can figure out that if they have a standard bark collar that they can pause & then start up again because they know the standard collars will return to the lowest setting of shock! Smartest pets I have ever had.

Owns 8 dogs. Competes. We have 8 borders, 3 who bark while we work our other dogs. After exhausting all the bark collars on the market, we found Steve's site for collars. First time the dogs wore the collar, 2 of the 3 stopped right away. One was more persistent, but at much lower activity. By day two, he gave it up, too. Very good product. Love all the features. Great quality. All my friends are now buying them. The kennel is now quiet, and all the dogs are relaxed.

Family pet. We have a lake place and our dog would go crazy at anything that came near our dock. She would bark constantly, very embarrassing and made it impossible to talk to neighbors riding by. The first time we put the collar on her, she was "reminded" not to bark. She is a completely different dog. So much more relaxing on the dock now. Thank you!

I got the collars last night and got them charged up. I have a beagle (you can probably hear her in Starkville on most days) and a Lab. They both spent the entire day outside and I have not heard ONE PEEP out of either of them today!
I am quite happy with the product and I KNOW my neighbors are!

"This has been a more humane solution than others - fewer corrections because it works correctly and he understands."
This has been a perfect product. Our rescued hound barked until my neighbors were insane, and we were fit to be as well. Two years of using consistent behavioral training, and then finally trying correction collars and ultrasonics, we were broke and crazy! This has been a more humane solution than others - fewer corrections because it works correctly and he understands. Unlike other collars, there are no false corrections. It works where all else failed.

"Our dog now knows when she has the collar on that barking is not an option."
An extremely versatile no bark collar with three modes of operation. The Progressive mode is very impressive, allowing dogs to learn to bark responsibly. (*the only improvement I can think of would be to allow me to suggest the starting point in Progressive mode for harder dogs) I've successfully used this collar to help interrupt: (1) separation anxiety, (2) destructive behavior (where noise is an established part of the ramp up to the destructive behaviour), (3) alert barking in reactive dogs and even (4) aggressive behavior (where alert barking is an established part of the ramp up to the act of aggression). Best of all rechargeable means great value, no more running around, shopping for batteries, when you could be working your dogs.

I have tried many different types of No-Bark Collars. None lasted very long. The last brand had many false corrections, which caused my dog to bite me because I was unable to remove it fast enough between false corrections. Then the Sport Dog SBC-10R came along. The "Cadillac". Affordable. No other collar has their features, including a safety mode that prohibits false corrections. Easy to recharge, holds its charge. It works on my dog so well. I have only heard one tiny correction in a week. I just ordered 3 more. I know it will train my dogs faster than ever before, and safer. Thank you.

"Sweet rescue dog that was never taught manners and not to bark. When nothing else worked...this one did."
I bought this collar as a last chance for my dog, Brandy. She would bark all day, and I had received threats from neighbors to shut her up. After trying several other no bark collars, it came down to this one either working or find her a new home. This collar saved her life. She barked once and learned her lesson. I can let the battery die and she wont bark. She is a sweet rescue dog that was never taught manners and not to bark. During a recent move, the charger was lost. Just having the collar on her worked...for awhile, until she realized it didn't zap her. She again, barked all day. This collar is amazing. When nothing else worked...this one did.

My 1 Golden Doodle barks at the neighbor dogs and kids, but has stopped that now. All because of this collar. Need another one for the Wire Haired Fox Terrier now because he thinks he's suppose to trek up the lack of barking since my barkers are now quiet. Love these collars.

Owns 2 dogs. Family pet. Using the collar on the younger of two dogs. He is a bit nervous and barks at everything--even family members if they act in a (playfully) threatening manner. The 10R was easy to charge and program. Best of all, it worked! After putting it on I heard one partial bark, a yelp of surprise, and then quiet. I have tried numerous old-school remedies and a cheaper collar in the past; the 10R was so easy, I kicked myself for dragging my feet. Since using it, have recommended it to others who are also having quick success. Thanks for a great product!

Family pet. We put this collar on our dog, and his barking caused him to cry (hypothetically). We only had it on for 4 hours the first day, it seemed to cause him distress. The next day he didn't bark, so we thought he was a fast learner. For the next few days, there was little barking again. I did put it on one day because he lost his mind again. It only took one time, and he stopped barking. He seems good, except when my daughter's dog comes over. Her dog barks at anyone that comes, so our dog thinks he should bark as well. I will scold our dog, and he will stop because he remembers the shock.

Owns 3 dogs. Family pet. NOT for dogs that snore!! I have 3 dogs, one Boxer, and two Boston Terriers, and when one 'alerts' to something they think should be barked at, there's no stopping the 3 of them. So I purchased two of these units for the two main barkers (Bostons-the Boxer mainly grumbles) in an attempt to save our sanity! My male Boston Terrier quickly learned a bark that does not set the collar off! I will say that this bark is preferable to his 'pre-collar' bark, and much more tolerable. But the main problem is that the collar DOES go off when he snores!! This collar is a godsend on my female Boston Terrier though, and well worth the investment. I have purchased a replacement collar to fit the unit to my Boxer, and will go with SD400 training collar for my mail Boston, so that I have control over when he is corrected, rather than depending on a collar to discern between his barking and snoring/snorting, which is really quite loud. If your dog isn't clever enough to work his bark around the collar, and does not snore, this is a PERFECT collar (I've had it for a couple of months, and have only charged it twice!) ...function, size, options, etc.

But the reveiws for that were mixed. I needed something that would do the job. Set at the level which increases with each bark, this one works. My dogs may bark once but generally that is it. They will not even bark to come in anymore, so I have to make sure I keep an eye through the sliding door. No more neighbors complaining about the dogs! I am concerned about the impact on the dogs in the long run physically and I do keep to removing the collar before the twelve hour time limit is up.

Two mutts. Owns 2 dogs. Family pet. I bought two of these units for my dogs before I bought the Bark Limiter a couple of months ago. The Sport Dog collar kept both of them from barking for a long time, then my pitbull mix started barking again. She had figured out how to shake her head and twist is around so it wouldn't shock her. I ended up having to put it on fairly tight for it to correct her consistantly and during that time, she developed horrible pressure sores. To clarify, I didn't put it on too tight, just enough for it to work, and I never left it on more than 10-11 hours at a time. Because of the sores and the continued barking, I tried the Bark Limiter because it is smaller and has shorter prongs. The change was a complete success as it works consistantly and does not leave sores. The SportDog collar works great for my German Shephard mix and I LOVE the fact that is rechargeable. I also love the increasing intensity so they can have a couple of freebie barks (I like knowing when someone comes up the driveway) but I don't think its as affective on seriously stubborn dogs.

Family pet. My GSD is very skittish and barks constantly out of fear. She'll bark at shadows, plants, dogs, people, and any noise she thinks she hears (including wind, rain, cars, etc.). So as you can imagine, I have tried many different methods to decrease her barking with no success. Finally, after some research, I bought this collar. The reviews for it were fantastic, and I had such high hopes that I would be able to use it for a week and then she'd learn. But alas, no matter what setting the collar is on, if she wants to bark...she'll bark right through the corrections. When I had it on the automatic correction mode, it would just keep upping the level until it was maxed out and she still wouldn't stop. I will say that putting the collar on does stop some of the random nuisance barking, but she'll still bark right through the corrections if she really wants to. And if she doesn't have it on, she's right back where we started. So, I guess if your dog is as stubborn as mine, no collar will stop the barking and it's not worth the money. But if your dog is more in the normal/average range, then the rest of these reviews suggest there is still hope for you....Good Luck!

"DryTek" Waterproof design submersible to 25 ft.
Uses "PerfectBark" technology to eliminate false corrections
10 levels of correction
Long-life rechargeable battery

The SportDOG NoBark SBC 10R anti-bark collar uses several features designed to shorten the training phase and promote good behavior. A patented sensor system provides the most reliable bark detection available. The unit delivers a static correction via the contact points only if it detects both vibration from the vocal cords and the sound of the bark.
Three Modes of Operation
The Sport DOG No Bark 10R has three user-selectable modes of operation allowing you to choose how corrections are given. These three modes are indicated by the light color and the display combination.
Temperament Learning -- The patent pending Temperament Learning (indicated by green light) mode tracks the number of corrections needed to substantially reduce (and in most cases eliminate) the number of nuisance barks. The system provides 10 levels of static correction. It begins with a low-level correction (level 0). However, if excessive barking continues, the correction intensity will increase with each successive bark until the barking stops. This correction level becomes the starting level the next time the dog barks. Once the dog has learned to reduce the barking, the initial warning corrections are reduced.
Progressive Correction -- In Progressive Correction mode (indicated by blue/green light), the correction starts at the lowest level and progresses to the next level (to a maximum of Level 9) each time your dog barks within 30 seconds of the previous bark. If your dog does not bark again within 30 seconds, the correction level will be reset to the lowest level (Level 0).
User-Selected Correction -- In the User-Selected Correction mode (indicated by
blue light only), the user presets the correction level (0-9) that will be used every time the dog barks. Note: As a built-in safety feature, if your dog barks 15 times or more within an 80 second period, the NoBark 10R will automatically shut off for 3 minutes. This safety feature is active in all three modes of operation.
The Sport DOG No-Bark 10R has a single button that allows you to turn the unit on and off, display the current operating mode, and change the operating mode.
Turn the Collar On -- Press and release the button while the unit is off. The light will flash green five times and then display the current operating mode as described above. (see "Three Modes of Operation")
Turn the Collar Off -- Press the button until the display goes blank and the red light comes on. Then release the button. The light will flash red four times and stop flashing completely. If you continue to push the button for more than 5 seconds, you will begin changing modes.
Display Current Operating Mode -- Press the button and hold it for less than 2 seconds before releasing it. The unit will display the current operating mode and the battery condition.
Change Active Operating Mode -- Press the button and hold
it for at least 5 seconds. The mode will advance and be displayed as described above.
Continue to hold the button to advance to the next available mode. Every 2 seconds the mode will advance and be displayed.
When the desired mode is displayed, release the button. The selected mode will be displayed during this time.
Once the button has been released for 5 seconds, the new operating mode will go into effect. The display will flash four times and then the unit will resume normal operation using the new operating mode. The light will flash every five seconds to indicate the current mode.
If the push-button is released too early, simply press it again within 5 seconds. The mode will advance and continue as described above.
Parts of the SportDOG NoBark 10R
1. Mode Switch: Adjusts the operating mode and level of correction your dog receives when barking. This switch is also used to turn the NoBark 10R on and off.
2. Sound-Activated Sensor: Detects your dog's bark.
3. Contact Points: Newly designed contact points eliminate the need for short and long probes and deliver a safe static correction.
4. Vibration Sensor Probe: Detects the vibrations of your dog's barking.
5. LCD Display: Displays the current mode of operation based on the color and the numeric indicator. Also displays the condition of the battery (Full, OK, Low).
6. Charge Port: Receptacle for the battery charger.
7. Battery Charger (not shown): Plugs into a standard wall receptacle for charging the collar.
Fitting the NoBark 10R
The proper fit and placement of your SportDOG NoBark 10R is important for effective operation. The contact points must have direct contact with your dog's skin on the underside of his neck. To assure a proper fit, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the NoBark 10R is off.
2. Start with your dog standing comfortably.
3. Place the NoBark 10R high on your dog's neck close to the ears. Center the contact points underneath your dog's neck, touching the skin. Note: It is sometimes necessary to trim the hair around the contact points to make sure that contact is consistent.
4. Check the tightness of the NoBark 10R by inserting one finger between the end of a contact point and your dog's neck. The fit should be snug but not constricting.
5. Allow your dog to wear the NoBark 10R for several minutes, then recheck the fit. Check the fit again as your dog becomes more comfortable with the NoBark 10R.
Use of the SportDOG NoBark 10R
Do not leave your dog alone the first few times he receives a correction. Place the NoBark 10R properly on your dog and wait nearby until he barks. Most dogs will understand quickly that the NoBark 10R is disrupting their urge to bark, and will relax and stop barking. Because the correction may be surprising or startling at first, some dogs may bark more at the initial correction. On rare occasions, a dog may get into a "bark-correction-bark-correction" cycle. If this happens, reassure your dog with calm, soothing tones. As your dog relaxes, he will understand that if he becomes quiet, he will not receive more corrections. Of the few dogs that have this reaction, it usually occurs only the first time they wear the NoBark 10R.
You should notice a reduction in your dog's barking within the first couple of days that he wears the NoBark 10R. At this point, it is important to remember that the learning process is still not complete. Dogs will "test" the new learning experience and will increase their attempts to bark. This usually occurs during the second week a dog wears the NoBark 10R. If this does occur, remain consistent and do not alter your use of the NoBark 10R. You must place the NoBark 10R on your dog in every situation when you expect him to be quiet. If your dog is not wearing the NoBark 10R, he may resume barking and his learning would suffer a setback.
The NoBark 10R contains a rechargeable battery pack. When the unit indicates that the battery is low (battery icon on the display indicates 1 bar or less and/or the light flashes red 3 times every 5 seconds), it is time to recharge the unit. Even though the average time between charges is 30 - 60 days (depending on how often your dog barks), it's a good idea to check the battery weekly to see if it needs charging. Due to greater use during your dog's training, your first battery charge may not last as long. To conserve battery life, turn the NoBark 10R off when not in use. Follow these steps to charge the battery:
1. Remove the NoBark 10R from your dog.
2. Plug the battery charger into a standard household receptacle.
3. Plug the other end of the battery charger into the NoBark 10R charge port. The light will flash the sequence Green-Blue-Red to indicate that charging has started.
4. During charging, keep the NoBark 10R in an open, well-ventilated area. The light will flash red twice every 10 seconds to indicate that charging is active.
5. When charging is complete, the battery charger will automatically shut off, preventing overcharging. The light will flash green twice every 10 seconds to indicate that charging is complete. Note: The battery should fully charge in less than 4 hours.
6. Remove the battery charger from the charge port. The light will flash the sequence Red-Blue-Green to indicate the unit is no longer charging.
7. Unplug the battery charger.
Note: The SportDOG NoBark 10R will automatically turn off when the battery charger is connected to it. Therefore, following a charge, turn the unit back on before using it.
Will my dog stop barking completely? -- The SportDOG NoBark 10R
effectively and humanely stops barking when it is worn. It should only be worn during periods of unwanted barking.
Will another dog's bark set off the NoBark 10R? -- No.
Is the NoBark 10R safe and humane? -- Yes. The NoBark 10R is designed to get your dog's attention, not to punish him. However, the initial correction may startle your dog.
Will the NoBark 10R work for my dog? -- The NoBark 10R is safe and effective for all breeds and sizes of dogs, though it may be too large for dogs under 8 pounds to wear comfortably.
Can I leave the NoBark 10R on my dog all the time? -- No. Never leave the NoBark 10R on for more than 12 consecutive hours.
Is it possible for my dog to learn not to bark only when the NoBark 10R is on? -- Yes. This is best accomplished by placing the NoBark 10R on your dog only in situations where you never want him to bark, and never placing the NoBark 10R on your dog in situations where you find it acceptable for him to bark.
I have more than one dog, but only one dog with a barking problem. Will it cause problems between the dogs if I keep them together? -- It should not be a problem, especially if you follow the procedures described in the owner's guide.
Can I attach a leash to the NoBark 10R? -- No. This can result in pulling the contact points too tightly against your dog's neck. Attach a leash to a separate, non-metallic collar making sure the extra collar does not put pressure on the contact points.
