The Tracker Classic One Dog Tracking System is designed for the bird hunter that needs to track one dog at one time. Small and portable, the Classic One Dog is the perfect solution for bird hunters that want the advanced features of the Tracker Maxima, but do not need to track more than one dog at one time.
The Tracker Classic can be custom matched to your choice of the Tracker Radio transmitter collar that has behavior circuits to give you more information on not only "where" your dog is, but "what" he is doing.
Bird hunters should pick from the Supra Lite or Strike Motion collars. Both of these collar feature a point indicator so you know when your dog has located birds.
The Tracker Classic Dog Tracking System provides an effective means of keeping "track" of your dog where terrain, cover, and/or distance considerations make visual contact uncertain or impossible. This system is also effective in locating dogs which are lost.
 The Tracker Classic Radio Tracking System consists of a Tracker "Classic" receiver and one Tracker collar-transmitter. The Classic receiver is capable of tracking one dog wearing a Supra Lite Bird Dog collar-receiver or Strike Motion Collar for distances up to 12 miles. An audio "beep" (not from the dog's collar) and flashing lights at the receiver enable you to quickly determine the location of your dog and to tell whether the dog is moving or still (the "beep" rate doubles when the dog remains stationary for 10 seconds).
To use the Classic receiver, you simply unfold the antennas attached to the receiver and press the "on" button. (The collar-transmitter is activated by tightening the collar-transmitter battery end caps when the collar-transmitter is put on the dog or by removing the magnet from the Strike collar.)
The Classic receiver is a fixed crystal system and, for maximum effectiveness, the collar-transmitter must match the receiver's radio frequency exactly. The Tracker Classic has a Collar Fine Tuner that allows you to adjust the frequency to the correct pitch of the collar.
The Tracker Classic receiver is one of the smallest on the market and can be easily carried in its belt holster. It measures approximately 1 1/4" x 2" x 8" with antenna folded and weighs about 13.5 ounces. The antennas extend quickly and easily to a maximum width of approximately 16 inches. The Tracker One Dog Supra Radio Tracking System has a line of site range of 12 miles and a functional range of 2-10 miles in rough terrain and adverse weather.
The receiver has "keys" for selecting on or off, and LEDs and an audio "beep" indicate the direction of the dog (collar-transmitter), which channel is "on" (dog one or dog two), Near Mode for when the dog is with in 1/2 mile of the receiver, and "low" battery indicator for when the receiver batteries are getting low. The receiver has an audio "beep" on/off (silencer) switch and a jack for earphones (not included).
 The Tracker Classic receiver operates on two 9-volt Alkaline batteries (included).

Supra Lite Bird Dog Collar
The Supra Lite collar-transmitters are mounted on 3/4" wide x 19" long "standard" polyurethane coated nylon (glo) collars with nickel plated K-9 buckles and dee rings. Each Supra Lite collar-transmitter weighs less than 5 ounces (approximately 4.5 ounces) complete with collar strap, battery, and antennas. The transmitter housing measures approximately 1 3/4" wide x 1 1/4" high x 3/4" deep.
The Tracker Supra Lite collar-receiver operates on a single 3-volt Lithium battery (included).
The Tracker Supra Receiver has a limited 10-year warranty for body parts and labor and a limited 3-year warranty on electronics. The Tracker Supra Lite Collar-Transmitter has a 1-year limited warranty.
