Tri-tronics has taken all of the good things about the SPORT line and made some major improvements: SPORT collars still have a 1/2 mile range, waterproof collar & transmitter, use 9-volt batteries in the transmitter, and rechargeable batteries in the collar.
Tritronics has improved the G3 transmitter, added more stim levels, and made all SPORT transmitters expandable to control up to 3 dogs.

SPORT Series Collars Features:
RANGE -- All Sport units have 1/2 mile range. This is plenty of range for the majority
of dog folks out there: all companion/pets, all flushing dogs, all retrievers and the
majority of bird dogs.
WATERPROOF -- All SPORT units are completely waterproof and submersible. They are
designed to be used in wet conditions and on swimming dogs - perfect for duck hunters. SPORT transmitters also float! The antenna is hollow and has enough air to make the
transmitter buoyant!
BATTERY -- All SPORT units use a standard 9 volt battery in the transmitter. Heavy users
can expect to get 6 months from a single battery, but most folks will get closer to a
year.
COLLAR -- The G3 Sport collars now use the same collar/receiver as the more expensive PRO
and FIELD systems. With EXP+, add collars as you need them.

All Sport G3 units have a minimum of 10 levels of momentary and 10 levels

have more than 18 levels of stimulation. For only $269 you can have
the most advanced system ever made by Tri-tronics.
Originally, Sport collars were better "problem solvers" than "training collars,"
but the new G3 Sport line gives you a wide enough spread of stimulation levels to work
with even the most sensitive dogs.
G3 EXP+ MULTI-DOG MODES -- Previous SPORT systems were very limited when you needed to work
more than one dog at a time, but Tri-tronics solved this with G3's EXP+ technology.
The NEW G3 SPORT transmitters (Basic, Combo, Upland) are packaged as 1 dog units. If you
need to control multiple dogs from one transmitter, turn your 1 dog system into a 2 or 3
dog system by purchasing extra EXP+ collar/receivers. Use the color-coded dial on the
transmitter to select dog 1, dog 2, or dog 3. Dial colors (black, red and blue) match the
collar straps (black, red and blue).
Meet the Tritronics G3 SPORT Series Collars:
Tritronics G3 Sport BASIC from $239
The Sport BASIC replaces the Tri-tronics Sport 50 and Sport 60, but
keeps the lower price of the Sport 50.
Now you get the tone feature and multi-dog options at the intro price of $239. This is the perfect
collar for the majority of folks out there.
The  Tritronics G3 Sport BASIC has 10 levels of both
momentary and continuous stimulation with a wide spread of levels
allowing for a gradual increase between levels. If you are looking
for a high quality and easy to use training collar, this is the first
one to consider. All of the quality of the top of the line
Tri-Tronics collars, but in a compact design.
Tritronics G3 Sport COMBO from $269
The G3 Sport COMBO replaces the Sport 80 line. It combines all the
features of the 80M and the 80C plus an option of the same set up as
the Sport Basic.
The interesting thing about all this is that you can
move from one mode to the other at anytime by changing the dial on the
front of the transmitter.
The Tritronics G3 Sport COMBO is the first transmitter
on the market that allows you to make changes to your transmitter on
the "fly" even while the dog is wearing the collar. If you prefer
continuous, select 20 levels with 10 levels of momentary. If you
prefer momentary, select 20 levels of momentary with 10 levels of
continuous. If you want the tone option, move the dial to basic mode
and have tone plus 10 levels of momentary and 10 levels of continuous.
The Sport COMBO is perfect for folks that want the widest possible
selection of stimulation levels but want it in a less expensive and
smaller package the the Tri-Tronics Pro level collars.
The Sport Combo has more levels than the Tri-Tronics Pro 500 but costs
$240 less.
Tritronics G3 Sport UPLAND from $349
One of the best additions to this line is the Sport UPLAND. The Sport
Upland replaces the Sport 65. It is designed with the bird hunter in
mind.
It allows you to control the remote beeper on your system. The
beeper will help you keep up with your bird dog in heavy cover and
tell you when he is on point. When you don't need the beeper, simply
cut it off with a press of a button.
The Sport UPLAND can be
purchased as a one, two of three dog system. One of most common
requests was for a two dog Sport 65 (most bird hunters run two dogs at
a time) so the UPLAND fills this need.
