Each unit is personally inspected by Steve, who verifies that it meets our standards. We clean up the gear, update the firmware, do a full factory reset, and test everything to make sure it's working like it should. Charge the new receiver for two hours and install the desired color collar strap. 2. Set the transmitter dog selection switch and select a training button that matches the color of the strap. 3. Set the transmitter stimulation intensity dial to a number, not a letter. 4. Hold down the collar power button for 5 seconds until the status LED turns yellow. Do not release it. 5. While the yellow LED is lit, press and release the selected training button on the transmitter, then release the collar power button. The collar will beep when the devices have paired successfully. 6. Test the pairing by pressing the selected training button. The collar LED will turn green. If you are not planning to use the unit now, turn the collar off after testing. NOTE: When adding a receiver for dogs 1 - 3, use the button that matches the strap color and place the dog selection switch in the UP position. When adding a receiver for dogs 4 - 6, use the button inside the colored circle on the yellow faceplate that matches the strap color and place the dog selection switch in the DOWN position. When adding a receiver for dogs 7 - 9, use the button with the colored circle printed on its edge that matches the strap color and place the dog selection switch in the MIDDLE position.
