The Plexidor Electronic Pet Door provides security and pet access control for your home. The PlexiDor Electric Pet Door opens only after it "reads" the key code on the included RFID key attached to your pet's collar. The panel then unlocks and slides upward, operating much like a mini-garage door. This prevents the entry of raccoons or strays. The door panel won't close when obstructed, so it is pet and child safe -- no need to worry about pinched tails or pinched fingers. The drive mechanism maintains total control at all times, up and down, and will not freeze up in cold weather. In addition, the door panel will not free fall in the event of power loss.
The RFID collar keys (2 included with each system) use patent-pending microchip technology and offer 1000s of key codes. They are rugged, lightweight (only 0.4 oz.), waterproof, battery-free, shock-proof, and fasten securely to your dog's collar. One button programming makes the addition or changing of collar codes quick and simple. They can also work in conjunction with an underground wireless fencing system without problems.
The Plexidor Electronic Door features steel hardware and a thick aluminum frame that won't bend. It has a low profile of just 1 5/8" in thickness. Aluminum tunnel pieces with stainless steel hardware that can be sized for walls from 4 in. to 12 in. thick are also included. The door panel is made from thick, shatter-resistant acrylic, and an interior stainless steel locking bar is included. There are no air gaps, making the Electronic Door energy efficient. The Plexidor Electric Door plugs into a household outlet with the supplied 15 ft. power cord or can be hardwired, and will not interfere with your home security system.
Plexidor Electronic Pet Doors can be installed in walls ranging from 4 in. to 12 in. thick. System comes complete with pet door, exterior trim, stainless steel hardware, aluminum tunnel pieces, 2 collar keys (extra keys available), and power supply with 15ft cord. For dogs up to 125 lbs.
